The minimum you expect when you need a room overnight. Cleaner than some Travelodges we've been to. You know.......Travelodge shampoo, foam cups, their non breakfast 'breakfast bar'. I'd stay here again if I needed to be close to the medical center again.
The air unit was all busted up. No water pressure in shower. Some unidentifiable matter on the nightstands. Filthy coffee pot never cleaned.
This was a nice stay! Nothing difficult about the process.
Here is my list: room was extremely dirty looking, carpet was sticky, room smelled like smoke, other guests were noisy, smelled weed, found a drug bag in the toilet paper roll, felt unsafe, broken remote, coffee pot didnt fit coffee maker, ghetto restroom light switch, did not feel comfortable at all. I would rather pay more and go somewhere else that is safer and cleaner.
My family and I needed a place to stay for five nights while visiting my sister and this one popped up and we were thankful. Good location (for us), free continental breakfast, free wireless, and a hot tub! This worked for us. It could use a refresh, as the carpets are old, but the staff was very helpful and kind.
I like this place, I just wish they'd try a little harder. Staff is 50/50 and let far to many bad elements stay. This takes away from otherwise fairly comfortable rooms.
Got to hotel late after arriving in town with a flat tire service was horrible. Wish I could get a refund, walked into a smoke filled room with three kids and a sign that said no smoking. Although it was a great location no parking at night and all your neighbors you could hear through thin walls. No drain plugs for baths and trashy room first night. When I checked in the guy wasn't patient and didn't run my card right three times. Waited an hour to check in and then experience the smoky room with a fun family of four including kids. Horrible horrible experience.
I have stayed at numerous Travelodge hotel in the past and this one was the worse kept. Dirty carpet that smelled funny upon entering.
!t was a perfectly decent little room. And that's all I really want to say.
Terible not clean uncomfortable noisy did not clean room no cable TV.
This was my worst experience ever with a hotel. The front desk staff on graveyard was terrible. Room was kind of dirty.
THIS IS AN EXCELLENT HOTEL.THE ROOMS ARE LARGE THE DRAPES KEEP IT DARK DURING THE DAY IF YOU ARE TRYING TO SLEEP.STAFF VERY ACCOMODATEING WITH XTRA TOWELS AND PILLOWS.THEY HAVE A REALLY GOOD CONTINENTAL FREE BREAKFAST WITH BAGELS,HARD BOILED EGGS,OJ AND MILK.HAD IT 7 DAYS IN A ROW!!
The front desk allowed us to check in at 2pm instead of making us wait until 3pm, which was a big plus since we were tired. Everything was fine, though the cable TV selection could have been better. The only inconvenience is the busy CA-55 off ramp in front of the motel that forced me to drive further to make a U-turn on Newport Ave.
My wife and I were watching tv on Friday Jan 29th when someone began knocking on the door and window to our room. We weren't expecting anyone, my wife asked who it was just kept knocking. We opened window look and asked again who it was. He demanded that we let him in. At this point I thought he was a drunk crazy guy and was scared because I didn't know what he was going to do. I used strong language and a hand gesture to make him go away. He said he was going to get police and left. I called down to front desk and said someone was trying to get into our room. Was told he was employee and some complained about our room and told us to keep it down. I was very quiet and they might have heard the room next to us who already left. He came back with police and asked why I made gesture and I said you had uniform, name tag and never said front desk. Everyone there blew us off and the manager never returned my phone call. I was very scared for our safety and no one cared. Isn't there a law says hotel workers must identify themselves?
Location is right of the freeway, staff was pleasant and rooms were clean.
Great value for a holiday weekend trip to the beach.
No frills here but an ok place to sleep. Close to beach and shopping.
Room was not as clean as most Hotels I have stayed in. We received maid service the first day but not the second day, no explanation given. Staff was fine but not overly friendly. Pool and hottub were good. A coat of paint and some 409 would go a lomg way.
Easy to take local bus to Newport, Huntington, Laguna, Long Beach, but bus runs infrequently. Bus stop to beaches outside hotel, but be street smart on the bus, check schedules, have exact fare or pass, and don't come home late. Would only recommend for short stay. Very noisy, doors closing all night, other guests tried to get into our room at 2 am., noise from motorcycles. Lots of restaurants within walking distance, not much else.
I spent one night in this hotel because I had a coupon from a site, 50% off. I paid $35 for a Thirsday night. It was great for $35, but for anymore than $50 I would not stay there again. Kind of funky. Good for poor college kid or the super thrifty.
