Go location. Everything satisfying, hotel needs a update

Not much that can be done about it, but the sound insulation is terrible.

Hotel located centrally to me need. The staff were very pleasant

I hated staying at this hotel. The whole place smelled musty, the carpeting was dirty, the elevator buttons were filthy and our sheets were never changed in the 5 nights we stayed there. The meals in the pub were not presented as described in the menu and the buffet breakfast on the weekend wasn’t even ready at the scheduled time and coffee was not available except from 6:00am-9:00am. The courtyard in the pictures on line was not even part of the hotel property but was part of the downtown. For the $271.99 per night we paid, this should have been a beautiful 5 star hotel.

Recent graduate of Oneonta, stayed there for the weekend because of its location to main street and it was great. The room was super clean, bed was comfortable, staff was super friendly. Check in / out process was seamless and the bathroom was nice also.

Good experience overall, nice room & bathroom/bath with jets. Restaurant was closed, and there was no breakfast available in the morning. Very convenient for shopping/dining on Main Street with entrance/exit right onto the street.

The hotel was below par for the money we spent. The staff was very nice. They kept the room clean. What we didn't like waa, no free breakfast, the dead bolt broke the first night, the AC unit never turned off and was either too cold or not cold enough. There was no free coffee during the day and evening. The hotel seemed old and a bit antiquated.

The clarion was absolutely wonderful. I was here for my sister's orientation at Hartwick College and visited some friends while we were here. The hotel was very accommodating to the type of room I wanted and gave it to me both times I requested it.

Great location. In the hub of everything, walk outside and you're on Main Street. Definitely worth the money to stay there.

The Clarion is in an ideal location. It's easy to get to and has entrances on Main Street where there are many cafes and stores. The rooms are clean and comfortable, except for the heating system which is the older under-the-window type which has a wide temperature variation and loud fan. Sunday breakfasts are now a $10 buffet. However, for the same price you can go around the corner to the Autumn Cage and get a fresh cooked omelet, homemade whole wheat toast, home fries and coffee for the a same price. Still, because of the location and room cleanliness it is the best bargain in the area.

Although the room looked somewhat clean, I was extremely disgusted by the stench of the pillows. They were white... but they smelled terribly of mold and overuse. I had to stay overnight because of my daughter's college orientation; i would not reccommend this hotel at all. I expected this hotel to be pristeen; it was dirty. I've stayed lower en hotels that were impeccable. I will never stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is located in the center of town and I was able to walk to all of my appointments. I was in town for a wake and funeral. The physical accommodations were flawless and the service was as well. Although the hotel has in house bar/dining, there is an excellent restaurant across the street (Stella Luna). The in house restaurant only provides comfort food....burgers, sandwiches, etc. but does have a wonderful breakfast menu.

Great location but looks better on the outside than inside...could use some updating in lobby and especially rooms...old carpeting and not vacuumed

Nice hot tub & sauna, small, very clean pool. Hotel is too close to neighboring night clubs, and music thumps te walls until 1 AM every night. Hotel did not honor room requirements. Had requested whirlpool tub and single king bed. Was given economy small room, no tub, and two twin beds. Staff could correct bed issue, but nothing else.

The hotel was clean, and the staff was very friendly. We slept good, and had a great view of main street. I would stay there again.

Went to Cooperstown for the weekend, it was close to Cooperstown(about 25 minutes) and the town of Oneonta was very nice.

Quiet room and hotel. Clean, great shower, did not like the shampoo and other b/r products. Room clean and comfortable. Beautiful view of mountains right outside our window.
