When I arrived the owner was quick to contact me and walk me through the house over the phone. He was very accommodating, wanting to make our stay the best it could possibly be.The house is very well kept up. It was clean. The owner obviously takes very good care for the property. The neighborhood, though older, feels safe. I think many investors and owners in the area see the potential for this neighborhood and are actively seeking to fix up these older homes so that they could be enjoyed for many years to come. Amazing home. Amazing Host.

This home looks exactly like the pictures. It is bigger than expected and was the best experience and place we have stayed in the city. Monte made sure we had everything we needed and the home is obviously well maintained. Plenty of food options and grocery stores in the neighborhood and some cool restaurants to walk to for brunch or a quick bite. We will definitely be back.

Lovely home in a convenient location!

I was drawn to this home because I love all things vintage, and because it’s located near the fairgrounds where my family had an event to attend. The house is beautiful and well maintained, and has everything you need from kitchen supplies to extra toiletries in the bathroom. The neighborhood feels safe and quiet. Monte was very communicative and helpful; he even gave me tips for driving around the area. If you enjoy wine, the hosts provide a complimentary bottle. There is a Walmart Neighborhood Market nearby, and it’s just a short drive to the Penn Square mall. My family greatly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Charming, quiet and roomy

My son and I stayed at this home in historic Gatewood Sept 27-30th. Our stay was out of necessity instead of pleasure, as we needed to be close to the OU medical center, but we found it to be very comfortable and enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed how quiet the back bedroom was because I could go to bed and sleep while my son stayed up and played video games in the tv room. The neighborhood is adorable, in a great location, and we felt very safe. I’m sure most people don’t cook much in vacation rentals, but I did cook some and found everything I needed except a cutting board. We appreciated the bottled water and Keurig cups provided for the coffee machine. Monte responded within minutes to all of my texts and was extremely helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
