Hotel is good , good location as far as walking distance to old town etc . But it is located in busy street , and there were homeless nearby . Unfortunately during check in , we didn’t get a room we booked , which is suit with kitchen and lunch table for 4 , they put us in junior suit , same size , but rate down and no kitchen. That was a surprise…..But anyway …

Good easy check in. A bit of a maze as the hotel is made of several older buildings joined together. Daily service was hit or miss. Good one day, below average on another. Pretty convenient to Interlaken OST (7 min walk). Breakfast is average (needs a little more variety)

Our stay at Nira Alpina was certainly the best of our whole trip in Switzerland & the Lake Como region of Italy. The rooms were fantastic - modern/Swiss with fantastic views. The desk staff was very welcoming upon our arrival and then to our surprise, the remaining staff - whether in the restaurant, bar, or even the cleaning staff, were friendly and caring. Unfortunately for us, our stay at Nira Alpina spoiled us because the 2 remaining places we stayed in Switzerland (high peak region & also Luzerne) & 1 in Varenna (Italy's Lake Como) never even came close in terms of accommodations nor in terms of staff friendliness. Certainly rate Nira Alpina the highest marks in all categories and would personally recommend them if needed.

James' Lowenplatz Apartment was the perfect place for our stay in Zurich. James was a fantastic host, very kind and responsive, and helped provide airport transportation for our group of 4. The entire apartment is very spacious, clean, and quiet. We wished we spent more time here as we really enjoyed the beautiful view from the many windows and outdoor patio on the second level of the apartment. We were happily surprised to receive housekeeping and in-unit laundry which was very much appreciated. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place for your next trip to Zurich.
