I loved Summercamp. It is definitely not your run of the mill hotel chain. The décor and color choices were amazing, along with the furniture and little things like the room key chains. The entire property had a feeling of fun and made you feel rather carefree. We had a great view of the harbor from ...

I loved Summercamp. It is definitely not your run of the mill hotel chain. The décor and color choices were amazing, along with the furniture and little things like the room key chains. The entire property had a feeling of fun and made you feel rather carefree. We had a great view of the harbor from the 4th floor. That was my husband's biggest complaint, that we were on the 4th floor and there wasn't an elevator. He also thought the room was rather small. I still loved it! But the lack of an elevator is worth mentioning. Location was wonderful and within walking distance of the ferry.
This hotel has been updated and is in a great location. There is a bonfire and great seating outside . The rooms are clean and staff is friendly .
Our stay at Cape Winds offered much more than we were expecting. Instead of just a bed and bathroom, it included an upstairs area with a fully stocked kitchen, dining table, a large, comfortable sitting area, and an extra half-bath. It was much too cold to use the outside deck, but in better weather that would be a wonderful option. Everything was spotlessly clean. The front desk staff couldn't have been friendlier. It was nice to have the choice of tea, coffee or hot chocolate any time. We didn't use the pool, but it looked clean and inviting. I would highly recommend this location for most adults. The spiral staircase leading to the upstairs could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues and a little dangerous for small kids.
Stayed a couple nights at this hotel. The value was great. Had a nice indoor pool and hot tub. Rooms were clean staff was great. A couple things that I'd change if I could. The beds were pretty uncomfortable. They were hard and springy with almost no cushion. The pool area is very steamy cause of the hot tub running 24/7. And that's where breakfast is offered. So eating breakfast you're kinda hot and it's muggy. Only have one door open to let out some of the hot air. Everything else was great. Staff was nice. And accommodating, my boyfriend requires a cpap machine for bedtime and there happened to be no plugs near the beds (weird I know). But In a flash they got him an extension cord that was greatly appreciated... we would go back. If they changed the beds... but for a quick one night trip. Totally worth the value. And very nicely located near the marina and Main Street and plenty of dining!
