It was a bumpy start, the first room we were given wasn't like the pictures suggested and one of the windows didn't work. The staff quickly remedied that and upgraded us to a maisonette with a terrace and balcony. This room was cozy, modern and we were really happy for the two nights we stayed. The hotel is in walking distance of public transport in a quiet residential area, there's also a Lidl close by for groceries. Something to consider - this hotel has a range of different options so there are holiday makers, business people and longer term tenants so it doesn't have the traditional hotel vibe. That said, we found it very quiet. It has a bar, but it is closed during the weekend. But it's a nice touch that you are given a bottle of water and beer per person per day in your fridge.

The hotel was perfectly located for us to visit the war crimes museum and the old town. There was free parking on the street directly opposite, which was a bonus. The room was great for the price and we could make our own breakfast from the LIDL close by. There are lots of great cafes in the area, which was ethnic but safe. Would stay again.

My pillow had human p.o.o.p. on it. I kept smelling it and wondered what it was. I finally decided to undress the bed and when I got to the pillows, they had feces all over them. I complained and they said they didn’t know where they had extra pillows. Checkout early and requested a refund for the last night and they didn’t refund me and didn’t even reach out to see if they could make it right. This place is gross. Do not stay there.
