My husband and I recently spent 2 nights here in a river view suite. The rooms are really large with full size kitchen, lounge room and seperate bedroom. The room also had a nice verandah over looking the river. One thing I didn't realise when booking is although you are looking over the marina the waterway is not very wide and across the water is Bunnings and some other stores- so that is more what you see, rather than nice river views. But in saying that the view was still nicer than just looking at other buildings in the city. Plus if you look to the side from the verandah you do get a great view of the river. The hotel itself was in a nice location not too far out of the city centre. If you wanted to be right in the city though there are other more central hotels The hot chocolate station in the lobby is a nice touch and the staff were very nice and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to people staying in Launceston
Reasonable price. Great location that close to town but feels miles away. Really clean and feel new. Great decor. Great food selection surrounding. Would stay again if travel to launceston again in rhe future.
This hotel is in a wonderful waterfront location. Everything is clean and the staff were so friendly and made me feel instantly welcome. The room was spacious and spotless, the view of the marina was so restful. Everything about the place was fantastic and I would highly recommend staying here when visiting Launceston.
The hotel is in an excellent position, easy access to things to see and do. The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the chocolates and liqueur, much appreciated. Bed very comfy
Amazing hotel and friendly staff! Love the complimentary Cape Grim Water in the room. Lovely bathroom products. Great pillows too. I love hotels that give giant fluffy pillows. The staff are amazing I didn't how to open my boot in the car as I'm hopeless with cars and was renting one. One of the staff came out and showed me how to! Brilliant! I didn't get her name. Sorry. Shout out to Holly as well. Very professional and polite.
We didn't need to have a great deal of contact with the staff, but when we did they were helpful and courteous. The room was wonderful, very clean, neat and everything we needed was there. It was truly like a mini home away from home. The furniture was comfortable and in excellent condition. Our room(s) had a washing machine and dryer (probably the only thing I would have liked but it wasn't there, was a clothes "horse/ airer" as I don't particularly like using dryers. but it wasn't a huge issue) a large fridge very comfy bed, large flat screen TV's in the bedroom and lounge area, a dishwasher, oven, hotplates, stainless steel sink adequate crockery, cutlery and glassware all in excellent condition. Our room was on the first floor and was quiet and within easy walking distance to the city centre, various eating places and the marina. We really enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Launceston. There is NOTHING we didn't like about this hotel!
We stayed here while on a business trip - 5 days - and added on a weekend of leisure in Launceston. It is a ten minute walk into the CBD but seems much better for a long stay than other options closer to the CBD. The rooms are a good size and we regarded the availability of an in-room laundry as essential, since we needed to do a large wash half-way through the week. Additionally, the kitchen facilities were excellent and, although we ate out most nights, the ability to have breakfasts made exactly to our liking was much appreciated. Staff members were friendly and competent throughout the hotel. There are many good eating options within the wider seafront complex. A number of previous guests make much of the $10 per day parking charge. In the scheme of the overall price, it's no big deal. We had no problem paying this. However, the hotel should probably consider building it into the room price if too many patrons are irritated by a specific charge. We expect to be back in Launceston for future work assignments and this hotel will certainly be our first choice.
Lovely location with lots of restaurants nearby. Staff on reception were so helpful and genuinely friendly, when there was a slight mix up in my room it was sorted so quickly and professionally. I stayed in a one bedroom apartment and it was lovely, spacious and clean. It didn't feel like a hotel room. Would also recommend getting room service, is probably the best room service dinner I have ever had. Again, delivered by staff who were friendly and approachable.
Much improved experience your staff were so friendly. A you have developed a generous culture with free short bread, mandarins daily and a free Cape Grim water. The rooms are always very clean. well done management and staff. the location is great with a choice of restaurants. Free parking is provided.
Very enjoyable stay, great staff, Great apartment, a short walk to shops and an excellent resturant , Mud resturant. Taxi drivers in Launceston were very friendly and helpful also.I would most definitley recommend Peppers to anyone looking for accomdation.
