A simple, basic hotel with clean and comfortable rooms with very friendly and helpful staff. Conveniently located within walking distance to the city centre and the lovely City Park. They offer breakfast at a reasonable price - we regretted not taking this up, we found out too late breakfast in town was expensive!
昔からのオージーモーテルです。 設備は古いのですが、充分な広さと明るいスタッフ！ヒル◯◯とかシェラ◯◯しか泊まらない人には無理ですが、清潔で安全でロケーションの良さは最高の宿でした。 It was great stay. Therefore it is an old establishment, staff were friendly and helpful, spacious and clean, the location is central enough. I would like to stay again for my next visit.
The hotel wasn't the newest, but it was a comfortable, clean and spacious hotel room. Our flight to Launceston was late getting in, and we weren't going to get to the hotel till after it's closing time. We rang from the airport to let them know but they insisted on staying open till we arrived. When arrived they were super friendly and provided lots of useful advice for our upcoming tour around Tasmania. We got the hot breakfast for $16 before leaving for Cradle Mountain the next day; it was delicious and great value for money.
Room was clean and comfortable. Car park is on incline and makes loading/unloading car a bit precarious. Staff were very helpful - we had no problems with housekeeping. We didn't have breakfast at hotel even though it was available. Hotel is close to the CBD to visit sights but you have to walk back up the hill............
We are a family of 4 and recently stayed one night in a family room. The room size was big and there were 3 single beds and 1 queen size bed. The 3 single beds were really comfortable but the queen size bed was terrible. It was saggy and springy and really needed to be replaced. Room decor was old and the bathroom smelly. There was no toilet paper provided at all! Not sure what happened to housekeeping there. Lucky I had a spare room in my bag as I didn’t want to have to walk back down three flights to go back to reception. The car park is at a scary angle / incline which makes it difficult to load and unload luggage at times. The carpet was dirty and stained and needs replacement. In summary, great single beds but terrible saggy queen size bed. Housekeeping needs attention. Will not be coming back due unfortunately.
Booked a standard room, no microwave, bedside lamp didn’t work, (New globe.) Toilet is a squashy little room seperate from the bathroom. Cannot turn the bathroom fan off. Limited utensils for take away meal - no plates. Shower is over the bath so be careful. Room was clean.
This lived up to its name and was a Comfortable place to stop for the night. The staff were very helpful and it was clean and roomy which a view over the city lights at night There was also a laundry available if required It was also handy to town to visit the sights
great value with very friendly staff, this place is very clean and tidy, modern, easy parking and short stroll into city. Everything from booking to departure was easy. Business associate stayed in nearby hotel which was nearly twice the price for the same quality as mine. Highly recommend this hotel for business or leisure. will stay again. no traffic noise either
We arrived in Launceston on a Sunday morning and drove around looking for accommodation. After checking a few hotels we came across this one. The owners were absolutely wonderful. They offered us a spacious room upstairs with views of the city, and also spent a good 15 mins advising us of where to eat and what to do in the surrounding areas.Hotel has everything you need including Restaurant, laundry and free parking on site. Will definitely return.
We were impressed with our stay here, the staff (think they may have been owners when I checked in), were very friendly and suggesting options for us to check out, it was lovely. The room was a good size for a family of four and whilst dated, it was all functional. Please note though, this hotel is on a VERY steep slope and reception/breakfast room are in the middle, it is a tough climb however you go. We were at the front of the property so from our door was a lovely view, but our window was on the main road, however it wasn't noisy, I think there was good insulation. We walked into town and back so a good workout with the incline but using York St to get back to the hotel was not so steep and an easier way back.
