Discover the beauty and history of Launceston from this two-storey Victorian Townhouse, located close to Launceston City Park and a short walk to the Launceston CBD. Contemporary meets old-world charm, with the three-bedroom stay pairing original features with modern conveniences.



Whether travelling with family or friends, for work or leisure, you’ll appreciate the proximity to Launceston`s best restaurants and cafes or use it as a base to explore the attractions of Northern Tasmania.



This elegant, three-bedroom stay offers a comfortable and memorable visit to Launceston, with a recent refresh ensuring that every room is thoughtfully appointed while retaining stunning period details.



The heart of this welcoming townhouse is the fully renovated galley-style kitchen. You’ll find all the essentials needed to cook up a feast, including a fridge, freezer, oven, stove, microwave, as well as other basics such as pots, pans and utensils. Meals can be eaten in the spacious formal dining room which retains all it`s original features including the fireplace (non-operational).



There are two lounge spaces. At the front entrance of the house is the first lounge area, where a generous sofa and gorgeous leather arm chairs provides the perfect spot to relax and watch TV or chat with loved ones. High ceilings and beautiful, original windows create a sense of spaciousness and maximise natural light.



The second lounge area is located at the rear of the house. It is a recent addition to the house and makes a perfect children`s space for playing board games or just taking a break.



Up the original staircase, you will find three spacious and elegantly appointed bedrooms that accommodate five guests, with the master bedroom featuring a king-size bed, the second bedroom offering a queen-size bed, and the third bedroom offering a king single. A standout feature of the master bedroom is the original fireplace which whilst not operational provides a perfect backdrop to the room.



The home has two bathrooms one located on the bottom floor ad the second on the first floor. Bathroom one is newly renovated and in a modern monochrome theme with a shower, vanity and WC. Bathroom two has been updated and also features a shower, vanity, and WC. Both bathrooms include all the essentials including soap, shampoo, conditioner, and a hairdryer.



A small courtyard at the rear of the home has a small table and chairs perfectly positioned to enjoy the morning sun with a cuppa.



Other conveniences include Wi-Fi and laundry facilities including a washing machine and dryer.



During your stay, you and your group will have the entire apartment to yourself. Please make yourself at home!



We are available by phone from 8 am to 8 pm if you have any questions during your stay.



We would love it if you could message us when you have arrived safely and also a message on leaving is appreciated so we can clean as early as possible for our next guests.



Please please let me know as soon as you can if there are any issues at all so I have a chance to take the appropriate action to ensure your stay is it should be - totally stress-free and relaxing!!



I am not always unable to personally check the house before your arrival. I am heavily reliant on my housekeeper and I need to know as soon as possible if you and therefore I have been let down in any way by the presentation of The Governess.
