This hotel has no amenities. The pool they used to have is filled in with dirt, and has a garden growing in it. The renovations done recently were not done well. You can tell this uses to be a smoking hotel just by the smell in the hallways. The bed was comfy however the fridge was so loud I had to unplug it to sleep at all. We were staying here so we didn't have to drive 45 mins home after an event. I could have stayed at the comfort inn in dayville for the same price and had a pool and breakfast. Well I know for next time. I will not stay again. Oh and a tip for the cleaning staff. The room was very clean but a sticky roller in the bathroom would help with the tons of hair that was all over the shower and floor.
Exterior is an old-style motel, parking space by your door. The interior is a nice typical budget room. The sink and counter are in the main room while the bathroom has just the toilet and bathtub/shower. Hairdryer is out next to the sink. There was a small fridge and microwave, flat screen TV, heating/AC unit. Everything worked great. There's a keurig-type coffee machine in the office which is available 24 hrs. The person who checked me in was nice and friendly. There are available outlets to charge your electronics, and free wi-fi which was easy to connect to and had a reasonable speed for email and normal internet browsing (probably not streaming). There is a diner in the same parking lot, and across the street there is a RiteAid and an IGA grocery. The McDonald's which used to be across the street is gone, but there are plenty of places nearby. Location is very convenient. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Nothing fancy, but for an overnight stay this was a great place.
For the price, we were very pleasantly surprised at the condition and cleanliness of the room. The toilet/shower area were maybe a little sub-par (I would have appreciated a hook for clothing or at least a toilet lid). The staff were nice but it seemed there may be a little language barrier. Pretty area and again, great room.
When we pulled up we weren't expecting much. But when we went into our room we found it was quite nice. It was more like a hotel room instead of a motel. The bed was comfortable. The room clean. And it was decorated nicely. Very modern. The only thing that would make it better would be if they had breakfast included.
The room was immaculate, just the right size, very well-priced, and convenient. The owners (I assume) were efficient and accommodating. The walls are thin, so we were able to hear our neighbors' TV and activities.
Small room with one queen bed, but clean and comfortable so just what was needed for a one night stay. Motel style with plenty of parking in front of your door. Diner shares the parking lot (Cindy's) and was delicious, friendly and cheap!
Comfortable and clean room, attentive staff/owner. The only issues I had were , an unruly couple( who were asked to leave), street noise at times(it's right on Route 6), and a key that didn't work right. On the plus side was a very good diner located in the same parking lot. (Cindys)
Worst Experience Ever!!! They kept charging our credit card over and over and over when we only authorized one night for a homeless woman to stay!!! Do not stay at this hotel!!!! They are Thieves!!! They will keep charging your credit card and won't talk to you or answer your phone calls!!
When I arrived, I wasn't sure what to expect. The hotel is more like the old motor court motels back in the day. But don't let that fool you. We were greeted by one of the owners who checked us in. He gave us recommendations for things to do and places to go and was very helpful and personable. On a scale of 1-10, I rate the cleanliness as a 9 with a little bit of dust on the back of the bathroom door. The bed was clean and comfortable. Plenty of pillows and they had substance, not flat pancakes. The bed was not too hard and not too soft. Pillow top mattress. TV with lots of channels, refrigerator, microwave and free Wi-Fi. The furnishings were modern in appearance and style. Plenty of plugs for electronics, too. Was there a cookie on my bed? Or a mint? No. Was there a Jacuzzi tub? No (although they say they have rooms with them) But for $55 for a single king bed, I had everything I needed and it was clean and comfy.
Came to the hotel off the internet, room was comfy and staff more than willing to accommodate me with some off the wall things that needed to be taken care of. Manager was always willing to help out with my requests and very obliging and curtious no matter what the request. Room was clean and well presented and was cleaned every other day or up on request. I would stay here again if I am in the area as it was a pleasure to be able to get in with what I needed to with out intrusion.
