This property has been recently renovated and my room was amazing. The stairwell between floors still needs the carpet replaced. Staff is friendly. I arrived at midnight after a long day of travel to a very kind and helpful front desk employee. Nice morning breakfast.

Great service from the front desk clerk and the room was very comfy until the middle of the night when I noticed that it was not very cool and the ac was struggling. In the morning there was water all over the floor by the ac unit and I called the front desk and they said they were trying to figure out what was going on with the ac—sounded like it wasn’t an isolated incident. The bed was amazing, lots of great pillows, decor was nice, big tv, access to coin laundry to wash clothes and dry them. No hair dryer in room. Overall decent stay other than the ac. Didn’t eat breakfast but lots of people did and the selection looked okay. Would likely stay again if I needed a room in north platte.

Good Things: Front desk employees were very friendly. The lady that works in the breakfast area is exceptional!! Keeps things filled. Keeps the dinning area clean. Takes the time to talk to each individual in the dinning area. Not So Good Things - Don't like hearing dogs barking at night (either in a room or in the hallway). Had a dog growl at my husband as we got off the elevator. Bed was very uncomfortable. Breakfast selection is probably one of the worst we have had. No variety, always the same stuff. Badly needs updating. Had to make sure we pulled room door shut otherwise it wouldn't shut all the way.

The property was recently renovated and felt like new. The room was large, the bed very comfortable, and the breakfast very nice. I would strongly recommend this La Quinta to I80 travelers!

This was supposed to be our final leg of our trip, the original room that was reserved for us was smelling of past dog/pets. Not just the floor but also the beds and couch. The staff seemed incompetent and very slow to checking in people even though it was 8pm and hen I was checking in. Also there were 2 people and it seemed like they didn’t know how to do their jobs. When I finally checked in, then went to the original room is when I noticed the foul smells. I asked to be switched rooms they offered me 2 separate rooms at the same cost. Went downstairs to get some bottle waters from the vending machine and it didn’t accept my coins. Had to wait for staff to help me, which they did after 10 mins of waiting. The beds and rooms finally smelled better though they still have the lingering dog/pet smell’s throughout the hotel. The dining area seemed too small and really dark. Overall I give this room a 2.1 out of 5.
