Enjoyed the pools, entertainment at night with the shows, tours. Some staff members not friendly, don’t acknowledge you until you say something. “Good morning”, “good afternoon” goes a long way, it doesn’t matter where you are in the world, specially if I’m a guest at the hotel you work at. You’re having a bad day, don’t take it out on me. I’m supposed to be your guest. I used to work for the airlines for 20 years. One thing I’ve learned is customer is always right, even though you know they may be wrong sometimes, but- you always want their complete satisfaction and a repeat business. You try to make them happy. I didn’t get that here. Breakfast- had to get up to get someone’s attention to get me some coffee and cream. It wasn’t even poured for me, I did it myself. Buffet style, get your own food and drinks, thank you. When seated, ask that customer if they need anything else. They need to improve on that.

This was our first stay at a secrets hotel. We had very high expections from reviews from people whom stayed at Secret resorts. We stayed in a perferred level ocean view room. The room was very clean and housekeeping did a great job of cleaning the room daily. However, the bedding was old and worn, the towels were rough and the robes old and ratty. The shower is very small. The room was close to all the restaurants and did have a beautiful view . We stayed in room 104. The food was average at best. The room service menu had more options than the restaurants. The seaside grill for breakfast served us burned pancakes and runny eggs. The italian restaurant was very good. All of the staff were friendly and exceptional. Especially the entertainment group. However, The bartenders at the pool bar seemed like they did not want to be there. We walked thru the spa and it was very old. Did not seem like a spa at a five star resort.
