The goodThe location is great. It is about a 3 block walk to the beach. It would be 2, but there is a large hotel in the way. The host also provides a great selection of beach gear, including a wagon, chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, etc. That was very convenient. It has a washer/dryer, towels, and basic dishes you usually find at a rental property.The badThe check-in process was completely unacceptable. We booked using this site, and we paid using this site. This site debited our account for one item, but then we started getting messages from a 3rd party app. We were not comfortable giving our personal information to a 3rd party app, so we submitted the requested information via this site. We were forced to use this other app, and we submitted the requested information 4 times. When we tried to call the host, they declined our call. When we asked for what specific information we were missing, they just cut and pasted the generic requirements for the 4 items. We were left stranded on the porch for an hour in the heat. Additionally, the listing is inaccurate. The bed advertised as a Queen is a full. Cleanliness was also subpar, it felt like a rushed, superficial job. The carpet was not even vacuumed until we did it.Property Condition Note:The carpet is heavily worn, dirty, and well past its lifespan. The property would be dramatically improved by extending the hard flooring through the living space and utilizing a robotic vacuum.
