People were nice and friendly/helpful. The prepared breakfast foods were pretty bad. The gym was not so much.

indoor pool, high ceilings, nice front lobby with a few board games breakfast had many options. Window shades did not work in the room. electric shades did not open.

Room furniture needs to be more updated. Bathrooms need updating as well.

Room was not available that I booked. Room they put me in smelled awful, air conditionier was very loud, and the bathtub had two soft spots that when you stepped in it you thought you would fall through. Will not stay here again.

Our room was nicer than expected and quite large. The staff were very attentive, cordial and went above and beyond. Well maintained, clean and well run hotel.

I chose this hotel because it stated the had an airport shuttle, no they don't needless to say it cost me almost $40.00 to go to the hotel. I had a very early flight I requested a wake up call for 3:30 am, did not get it needless to say I almost missed my flight.

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay. Staff was great. It was clean.

Stayed in the hotel for one night. It was very noisy and bathroom left much to be desired. There was rust and mold in the shower. The water pressure was minimal which made it very difficult to rinse the shampoo out of my hair. Bed was hard as a rock. They advertise the ability to change the setting of the bed so that you can have a soft or hard mattress but our bed did not have that capability. It was rock hard! The box spring actually bent if you pushed down on the bed. Definitely not ideal. Luckily, we only stayed for one night.

This is a fabulous hotel which my family and I return to year after year. The staff is super friendly and helpful- and that includes everyone the front desk, housekeeping and lounge staff. These folks seem really happy with their jobs- and it shows. Kudos to management! The rooms are clean and comfortable and I like that they provide a keurig coffee machine, microwave and mini fridge. They provide a lot of extras- such as cookies, tea and coffee set up on a little buffet in the evenings and free WiFi. This is a very nice touch and it shows that they care about their guests. We also love the pleasant dining area and breakfast in the mornings. They do a great job with lots of fresh food to choose from. We will definitely keep coming back!

My room wasn't cleaned despite my wife and I leaving for the afternoon. At least they could have given clean linen.

This was a suitable hotel for a 2 day stay. We wish there was a complimentary breakfast...

The customer service desk was friendly, and the manager returned my call very promptly when I had need of his assistance. Very clean!

The hotel was very nice and conveniently located to restaurants and shopping. The adjustable bed was extremely comfortable. The dining area is perfect for breakfast and lunch but doesn't have the atmosphere I enjoy for dinner. The breakfast buffet is also very good. The eggs are cooked to order.

Great location for business travel, right off I-64 in Chesapeake, close to Virginia Beach and Norfolk. Shopping mall across the street, hotel is surrounded by dining options. However, seems like everytime I check in there, there's a problem on some front. This time, my king room turned into 2 doubles with no notice or apology. Front desk gave me a "take it or leave it" attitude. On the plus side, the gentleman named [...] working the bar/room service was excellent! Very friendly and customer-focused. I love Hilton Garden Inns generally, but unlike most other HGIs this one is hit or miss from a management perspective. Plus, it's rate tends to be on the high side of the HGI range, which is ironic since it's the worst one I've stayed in.

[...] Once I did get checked in, I went to my room only to find the bed not made, clothes in the closet with hygene products in the restroom. I went back down stairs to communicate my discovery and said I would lgo have dinner and come back so they could prepare my room. Whn I retuned an hour later, the bed was made but the other occupants items remained. I called the fornt desk, and said this is unaccectable and I am not comming back down. They sent an attendant to my floor and set me up with two double beds instead of a king. AllI wanted was to relax after my six hour drive and two presentations I had to give. It was a mess and my room should have been comped!

Last minute trip to check on an ill friend. We found the room, clean and inviting, comfortable bed and enough amenities to meet our needs. I appreciated the great value for such quality accomodations.

We came down for a wedding. We enjoyed staying here. This was our second trip to this hotel. The staff is very friendly. The hotel is very close to a mall too, so that's nice. The hotel has fresh baked cookies which was really nice. The free internet was a bonus. The room was very clean.

We waited almost an hour to check in. We only say one staff member out entire stay.
