Overall, this is a solid, basic hotel. The rooms were spotless, and I noticed the hallways and common areas were always well maintained. The staff was friendly and welcoming—one front desk member even offered helpful tips about local restaurants, which made my stay more enjoyable. The location is fantastic, just steps from the beach and conveniently close to everything in the tidewater area.
The only area for improvement would be the breakfast experience. The food was good and provided a nice start to the day, but I noticed that about 20 minutes before breakfast was scheduled to end, the attendant began announcing the upcoming closure and started cleaning and sweeping. This approach felt a bit rushed and made it difficult for guests to finish their meals comfortably. It would be better if cleanup began after the official breakfast hours, so guests could enjoy their food and find a place to sit without feeling hurried. A more considerate cleanup schedule would definitely improve the overall experience.
