The room was not cold enough, and the construction noise was very loud and disturbing. The restaurants wouldn’t accept guests after a certain hour, even though they were open late, which was disappointing. The alcohol was quite watered down, and there were kids on the side where they weren’t supposed to be. Despite these issues, the staff was very friendly overall.

The rooms direct view was the swimming pool and a side view or the ocean. The room cleaning service was not the greatest the beds would be made but the room would still be dirty, dusty night tables, tables and dressers, the cleaning staff left tissues in our shower, shower glass, screen door and glass separating bedroom and sitting space were never cleaned. The elevators her hot and humid, 1 out of the 2 elevators was out of service a lot of the time. Food was mediocre but the snack bar was terrible. My husband and I got sick off the snack bar food. The entertainment was ok but could have been better being at the riu. The ongoing construction during the day was a let down it was hard to relax while hearing all the construction noise and we still paid full price for the trip. Was let down by the overall experience for the price we paid we were expecting a higher standard.

Yes, everything was perfect, except the noise and construction dust - because they renovate the main building & we had the room & balcony very near to the main site, so it was realy loud & often dusty during our vacation! The most beautiful is always the water, beach, also the pool & the arounds are very clean We were in Riu Palace for the 3rd time & like the stay very much!!! Hope the next time will be without any noise, dust & any renovations!!!

The food was decent for an all inclusive. The elevators to the rooms were a huge inconvenience. One was constantly broke and there’s only two. Doesn’t seem they have a service elevator, so the staff would occupy the working car with cleaning carts and food carts. Also, we were supposed the get a $500 credit with the booking. When we arrived I was told we wouldn’t be getting a credit but I can ask the shops and spa for a discount. Thought that was weird. Figured I’d take it up with Expedia and was told by the receptionist to do just that when we checked out. Overall it was nice but we’d try a different resort next time.

Ocean was not visible. Lot of construction around the property but the place is very nice! Def worth the beach, can do with or without all inclusive and there’s good food in the area.

The staff were extremely kind and accommodating for the entire stay. The cleaning of the resort as a whole was spectacular! The only sort of issue with cleanliness was that the same diligence taken outside was not continued in the rooms. The food was good, we were unlucky and the outdoor food spot by the water only reopened on our last day there. But overall it was an awesome experience, would definitely go again.

The property was as expected for repeat Riu guests. I like d that it was walkable to shopping and additional dining. The staff was friendly. Had to call daily to have our fridge restocked but room was clean and restocked. Food was mediocre at best.
