BEACH COTTAGE TERRACE is a spacious family apartment with two bedrooms on the top floor. It is located in the Golden Square in the city center, a few steps from the sea and the famous Negresco Hotel. The apartment benefits from two terraces : one which faces south with a pleasant sea view. The other one as a veranda with two openable sliding windows with a hills view.



The decoration of the apartment is a marriage between classic and rustic. The beams on the ceiling, the cocooning corner with decorative fireplace, the herringbone parquet flooring and the veranda terrace will plunge you into the warm atmosphere of a summer cottage.



Heating: Heating is collective and managed by the building. Start-up is scheduled for mid-November to mid-December. Shutdown is scheduled for mid-April. Start-up and shut-down dates depend on the local climate and the building manager.

Great apartment, tricky lock

A little trouble with the lock, you have to turn the keys a few times to get the bolt pulled all the way back. After that it was great. Clean and nice. AC works well and has remote control. Spacious. We really enjoyed the kitchen where you can see a little bit of sea out the window. Location is just a few blocks from a tram station and there are plenty of restaurants and stores in the area.

Misleading/Difficult Booking Process

Extremely misleading booking process. We wanted to book a VRBO for the simplicity of having everything in one place. After making our booking through the app, the booking disappeared from our app and we were unable to access any information including cancellation policy and location etc. In fact, we tried to cancel the booking and were later informed the cancellation did not work. After being told we cannot cancel and unable to see our booking, we were asked to download a separate application in order to get all the info we needed - overall not a simple process. Aside from that, the location is close to everything and a short walk to the beach, restaurants etc. and overall it is a nice apartment, however, needs some upgrades ex. Showers did not drain etc. All in all it was difficult to be satisfied given such a rocky start with the booking issues.

Great location, comfortable

There's so much to love about this apartment – a block to the beach, sea view from the balcony, extremely comfortable bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and great kitchen. The location is walkable for almost everything we wanted to do, except for the Matisse and Chagall museums – and we found busses and an Uber for those outings. Suggestions for improvements: 1. Leave an instructions for the washing machine and a couple of detergent pods. 2. Include a few more basics in the kitchen, like olive oil. We left the olive oil we bought because we thought the next guests would appreciate it - but we had some unopened items we would have left, too, but didn't think that would be allowed. 3. Secure the windows in the terrace room off the living room so they can be opened - we didn't spend any time on that side of the apartment because it was hot and we were instructed it was dangerous to open them. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Beach Stay

This is a true beach apartment. A bit run down and dated and could use some upgrades to the bathrooms and kitchen. Otherwise location was good although air conditioning center to deck and buckets had to be emptied to avoid draining on patio below. Would be good to know this for future guests. Also guest bathroom water sprays everywhere when showering.

Der Aufenthalt in der Wohnung ist toll, das System, mit dem die Wohnung vermittelt wird ist nicht gut. Man hat ständig das Gefühl mit einerm KI zu chatten. Teilweise eher unfreundlicher Umgangston. Z.B.: wird man aufgefordert, bei der Anreise bis 24.00 Uhr alle Mängel in der Wohnung aufzulisten, die noch nicht registriert sind. Von den registrierten bekommt man Fotos geschickt. Wenn es weitere Mängel gibt, die man nicht vermerkt, wird einem das zur Last gelegt. Ich bin als Gast sicher nicht verpflichtet mich um die Mängelaufzeichnung der Wohnung zu kümmern!!!
