One good thing. Its close to the Garibaldi Plaza. Rooms are very small, ugly, dont look clean. Bathroom is smaller than any bathroom I have been. No options in the so called retaurant, that is like an office coffee. Too hot and the controls didnt work. Could be an option for a low budget trip. A very low budget.

I've always told my kids, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything. I'm going to say it.This place may be cheap, however, it's not worth it. We arrived late with our tour group and the person greeting us, the front line, was rude...beyond rude. The room was falling apart. By the time we got to breakfast (around 7.30 am), if you can call it that, most of the food had gone. I would never stay here again!

[Did not stay here by choice but as part of a tour.] The location is excellent and within walking distance to the main sights and town, however that's all I can positively say about our experience here. Our room was incredibly dirty, the shower doors has been broken off and stacked against the shower wall for sometime (there was dust at the very top when we tried to move them). This wasn't too much of a hindrance, more laughable but then the shower itself barely worked and the hose was fixed pointing towards the wall! Mentioned this to the desk manager who could not of cared less so I can only imagine how many times this has been reported, probably been that way for years! Breakfast was terrible, even for continental standards. Advertised as a budget hotel and it is certainly that...and less.

Great location and a great price.10mins from old town and port . plenty of restaurants and pubs near. Tram stop also 10mins away.good breakfast as well rooms small but ok. Tv poor for English speaking. But great hotel.

I’m really surprised that British Airways holidays has this hotel on their choices for Nice. It was grim. The room was boiling hot, had no window you could open and the air conditioning was not working. The standard of the room was awful. The room was very run down with chipped, stained furniture and fittings. The water / shower kept going from cold to hot. The towels were very thin and torn. The carpet was dirty. A really horrible hotel. I would not recommend staying here.

This hotel is just off the main road and Nice Gare main station so in theory should of been really noisy from the street but wasn't... the only noise you had was from next door but it was minimal and what you expect in a hotel. Desk staff were friendly and the room clean perfect place to stay if your heading to Monaco too!

Hotel situated in a great location on the Place du Pin in the Old Town surrounded by excellent restaurants and bars. At the end of the street is the Place Garabaldi where you can get a tram into the town centre or beach, just 2 stops away, for only 1 euro 50 cents. However, we loved the old town better and the Port. The Hotel is what you pay for, we paid just 50 euro per night, a budget hotel but had everything we needed. We had a big bed which was very comfy, 2 pillows each, TV, air conditioning and everything was clean. The only downside was the shower cubicle was small. The staff were friendly and helpful in recommending an excellent local restaurant and giving us a Nice map free of charge. We were on the 5th floor so didn't hear any traffic or street noise. Would stay here again.

Price is economic. Walking to Nice Riquier station takes about 15min. Many restaurant around so finding food is easy. Room is small, especially the shower. It's not new, but properly maintained and most things work. Just a few minor hiccups like the toilet paper stuck in the box, hot water is sometimes unstable. But nothing serious. There's a coffee machine in the room, not common with this price tag, is a nice surprise. Breakfast is 12euro but very simple, not really worthy.

The hotel is placed on a great location. Just 5mins to the old city. The staff is very helpful and they offered us every information we needed with smileys in their faces. They have their own parking with payment but you can find a parking place for your car in the streets around the hotel. It was easy for me to find a parking place in the street all the time there.

We booked this hotel before Christmas last year. 2 X twin rooms for10 August 4 nights On arrival we found only 1 room had been booked by hotel. :Hotel was full. We were Put next door, could not unpack as we were going to get room later next day. Receptionist was very nice but no apology was given. Asked to see manager - not in. - told "receptionist who had booked us would be very upset that she had made a mistake. Still no apology Our friends were taking a shower no towels in room Phoned reception no one came with towels. Had to get dressed and go to reception to collect towels We 4 ladies ALL felt that we were dismissed. No apology - no managerial person was available the whole 4 days. I emailed my complaints I am still awaiting a reply.
