We booked this hotel before Christmas last year. 2 X twin rooms for10 August 4 nights On arrival we found only 1 room had been booked by hotel. :Hotel was full. We were Put next door, could not unpack as we were going to get room later next day. Receptionist was very nice but no apology was given. Asked to see manager - not in. - told "receptionist who had booked us would be very upset that she had made a mistake. Still no apology Our friends were taking a shower no towels in room Phoned reception no one came with towels. Had to get dressed and go to reception to collect towels We 4 ladies ALL felt that we were dismissed. No apology - no managerial person was available the whole 4 days. I emailed my complaints I am still awaiting a reply.
Arrived early from a red eye flight tired expecting to leave our bags and return later. We were not expecting a room to be ready, could not have been more pleased- room ready, excellent customer service. Thank you
The room itself was small. It was nice to be surrounded by several cafes and restaurants. Definitely within walking distance of the beach as well. The staff was courteous. I would recommend if you were only staying for a few days.
Perfect location if you want to stay by the old town and only about 10min walk from the nearest beach. Comfortable rooms and good facilities. I especially need to complement the blond lady who checked us in on Sunday. Her welcoming and helpful attitude scores highly with guests! Double room was €55 so great deal for Nice. Airport bus stop (Garibaldi) is just round the corner however I find that sometimes bus 98 doesn't seem to go via this route so I would recommend walking couple of minutes to Lycee Massena bus stop and catching it from there. The only complaint I have in regards to this hotel is their shockingly poor Wi-Fi...
Bit like a Travelodge. Basic room but comfortable. Nice bright breakfast room. Minimum choice but again, adequate. Definitely more a city hotel. Close to airport bus station and lots of restaurants. Short walk around to the promenade and old town.
We were there only for 3 nights but on the Last day manager was very rude to us absolutely nightmare! I have never met someone as stupid and rude! rooms are very small! I dont recommend to anyone! Not worth a try!
The hotel is basic, but is in an excellent location. The staff are very helpful. The room was a little tired and not much storage. However We knew this when we booked. The breakfast was good for us.Fresh bread, ham, cheese ,cereal, coffee. The beds were really clean and comfortable. There is a train station 15 minutes walk away called gare riquier with excellent access to Antibes,Cannes ,and the other direction to villefrance,Monaco, menton. We would stay here again.
The food from the lunch buffet is the same as for dinner. The cheses and the pate were nice. The double room is may be the smallest in the world. However, for the price one recieves his fair share. The bathroom is even smaller. Nothing to see in the surroundings.
Very small room, not much room for two people, once we have two sets of luggage, it was a bit of an issue moving around the room without tripping over the bed, our bags, each other. The bathroom was tiny, and the shower was broken, door was off its hinges, and shower head didn't stay upright. We were offered to change rooms as the maintenance man was not available until the morning, but due to already unpacking,we persisted. So at least they offered a solution. Wifi was horrible, and they blamed having too many people. But if a hotel, you need to cater for this. Location wise, was great. Out of the busy area, a lot of restaurants, bars, cafes to choose from or centre shopping area and night life only 10 min walk away which surprised us. Breakfast was very basic. Considering the everything, the location was the only positive thing. Probably wouldn't stay here again due to small rooms and bathroom, but for money saving very close to the town centre, it's good.
Good location close to port and old town. However room was basic and very tired. Walls were thin and we could hear talking/people using the toilet in adjacent rooms.Air con only blew hot air which was unhelpful on hot evenings. Coffee machine in room no good as coffee pods were only supplied for first night. Why advertise this amenity when it can only be used it on the 1st day. Breakfast was served until 10am but food was taken away shortly after this time which wasn't good for people arriving near the deadline and were told the the restaurant would be closed roughly 15 mins after this time - not good. Plus point was a blonde older (sorry) lady on reception who was very helpful.
