One of the worst experiences I had, and I'm not even picky. Location of this hostel is difficult to navigate to and from. Kids that were at the front desk were somewhat helpful, but the room itself was filthy, restroom even worse. The whole feel of hostel with ability to smell food that other people were making five doors down was enough for us to leave room immediately and not even bother asking for refund. Hostel is full of kids from all over the world, and if you don't mind that type of ambiance this might be a good option for you. Cleanliness, fact that it's not a hotel, and smell was enough for us to leave, and never come back. Very poor experience.
Hotel was clean, quite, good breakfast, friendly staff. Location was not great a good 30 min walk to the old town but you have a tram outside the door of the hotel which will take you to the old town for €1.50 and in about 6 min.
The room was very clean, very functional and very central. No complaints at all. There was a small hob and a microwave with pots and pans available if you wanted to cook your own food. The aircon was a little "soft" but overall it was very good.
a great s/c hotel appartments have all you need to feel at home bakery next door fresh french bread daily tram stop 100 metres from front door the tram will take you right across the city for 1.50 euro hotel staff friendly and welcoming a good value for money hotel
Location The location is pretty good. A train station is here and it 2 km far away from Promenade des Anglese. It's nice just to walk down the street. The hotel is in an short area between two streets with many foreigners and you may see the difference for a while. A little bit dirtier than usual. But its not bad! Place The hotel is good. May be a little bit old or not so good maintained. Rooms are cozy and functional. Stuff People are polite and nice. Not very good level of English except the reception. But very smiled and sweet :) Wi-fi You need to log in each 24 hours. Food No room service. I haven't try re breakfast. There is a vending machine in the lobby with sweets and fast food spaghetti. Nearby - train station - great stadium for sport - Supermarkets - Bakery Like it! We are living here for a long time and we feel great.
Stayed here for a week. Overall cleanliness not good. Is quite "shabby" and could do with refurbishment as rooms etc are beginning to show their age. Cracked washbasin and cracked tiles in bathroom. Advert stated has kitchenette with kettle - none. No iron available, despite asking several times for one. Comfortable bed.
We stayed only for two nights, but it was too long taking into consideration how dirty it was. I had to go and buy some shoes to wear in the shower cabin when having a shower because the bathroom floor was so dirty that I was afraid to touch. Extremely small beds, TV not working, very dirty, mold in the bath, etc. Location not so great, for sure I won't return there. Somebody vomited from the hotel room in the street, in front of the entrance and nobody cleaned it until the next morning.
Initially judging from the price of the hotel one could think that it is a comfortable place to stay. But when we got there we were greatly shocked; there were no sheets on one bed; the wifi only worked downstairs and not in the room as advertised and the car parking was just tall enough for a small SUV. The bathroom easily flooded also. However the staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was good.
Studio apartment situated in the middle of nice. Good location near a tram stop. We had only one pan and no pot available, the cutlery was few. The reception close for lunch time (1:30/2:00 pm to 3pm). Yo have to pay to keep the luggages 2€ per day even if you only want to leave it there and go around Nice waiting for check in. Check in isn't available until 3:0pm not before. Check out at 11:00am as late. Every or most of the service they offer you must pay to get it.
Not the best place but average value for money. Good sized family room. Not enough pillows for 4 people. Car park tricky to find and no where to park outside whilst you check in. Staff were helpful enough but reception was closed until 3pm so we were unable to find anything out until then as we arrived at 2.35pm. The site says its closed until 2pm. Free wifi is advertised but you have to pay. There is a small cafe on the corner and bars down the road but we felt quite unsafe to be walking around down there with large groups of men. It says that Promenade d'Anglais is 20 minutes walk when google maps said 54 minutes! Glad we didn't try to walk!
