The hotel is conveniently located in the downtown, right next to the beach. A little convenient store is just next door and many restaurants are in proximity. Hard Rock Café is about 5 minutes of walk. The hotel room was ok, pretty basic but fine enough for a couple of nights stay. It was expensive but still a great choice in overpriced Nice.
Stayed two nights. Walked to everything...old town is just 2 blocks away, water only one . Hop on, hop off bus ( a must) is right outside hotel entrance. Park is across the street. Perfect location! Small hotel clean, comfortable, lovely bathroom, just right, and friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast which was included. Best coffee I have had in a while. Great price. Highly recommend.
Only stayed here one night. The hotel is very well located on the park and not far from the sea. The bath was modern and roomy, the bed was comfortable, and the AC was adequate. The hotel is easily accessed via the bus from the airport (if you take the short walk to the road from the airport instead of taking the bus from the terminal, you will save over 4 euros). I would stay here again.
The air conditioning in our room as well as all the public areas of the hotel were totally inadequate for a hot summer night. Their room rates are way too high for this to happen. Fortunately we were only staying one night.
Hotel is in a great location, near the old town. We had a room at the front of the hotel overlooking the gardens, with a great view of the sea and the Promenade des Anglais. Room and bathroom were small, but adequate, very clean with everything we needed for a short stay. Buffet breakfast was an extra 12 euros per person per day but was good and worth the money. Reception staff very pleasant and helpful. The only negatives were the air conditioning and the lift. Neither were very effective.
Stayed here for five nights in June, the room was small (514) clean and serviced every day.the bathroom was also small and had recently been upgraded.no complaints with the room.the air con was not great but it was very warm weather during visit and room was not too hot.there was a small fridge in the room which had two bottles of complementary water on arrival and the fridge worked well. The wifi was slow.the hotel is well located near the city centre. The airport bus stops outside (six euros pp from the airport) within walking distance of the train station without luggage.we did not have breakfast at the hotel too many choices close by. No bar in the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a shower/dressing room available for late check outs.don't expect too much the pictures look better than reality but I would not put any off using this hotel.
Stayed there with my fiance in room 211. Room and bathroom were very clean and modern. Internet worked great, air-con in great condition, as soon as we turned it on you could tell the big difference. Room didn't have a great view but very quiet(as I could read other people complain about noise, no such thing!), plus we were out all the time we couldn't really care. Altough we arrived before 12(quite early) the man at reception let us check in. He was very nice and even gave us a map, showed us routes to Monaco and Cannes and advised what's more convenient. We used Nice as a base for our trip, as we also went to Monaco and Cannes. Bus stop from the airport(bus 98) is right in front of the hotel. You couldn't get a better location! Just minutes walking from beach, Place Massena, plenty of shops and restaurants! I highly reccomemd this place.. for everything! We are already planning going back to Nice and Albert 1er is the place we would choose to stay again.
Stayed here in july 2016 was a good hotel and very close to all amenities ,plenty of restaurants around the hotel unfortunately it was on the evening we arrived that the atrocity terrorist attack happened which put a damper to our break
This hotel is in an ideal location: close to the beach, close to the open air market and other shopping. That's the best feature. Unfortunately, the room was small, but the bathroom was even smaller. The toilet was in a separate room and even a short person's knees can almost touch the door when closed. Cramped. We did have a nice view of the Mediterranean. The wifi was slow. Breakfast was not included, but available for 20 euros. The staff was ok.
The hotel is very well located, and the staff was courteous and professional, even allowing me to change rooms at the last minute to get a better bed configuration. The problem was that I am allergic to mold, and I had a strong mold reaction in this hotel. I suggest they do mold testing to ascertain, locate and remediate the problem.
