The staff are nice and friendly. The room was ok for one night. Probably the router wasn’t near to my room for that reason I had poor signal. Room 313. The bathroom from the neighbouring room is adjacent to the room, I could hear people having showers, flushing the toilet and singing under the shower :). They have a room to leave the luggage if you have a flight later.
Location was good and the seeview from our 6/6 floor balcony was nice and peaceful. Traffic noises stayed outside. Our room was very small and there was no space for clothes and bags. Carpets were worn out and dirty, and we had the same bedlinen for 10 nights! TV sound from the room next to us was very loud and disturbing, also noices from the hallway kept us awake. Some cleaning liquide they used was too strong and made it difficult to breath during the nights. Internet connection was very bad and slow. Airconditioning was loud and didn't work properly. Reception personel was impolite and useless. They didn't even inform us that on the checkout morning the whole hotel area was totally blocked from cars because of some minimarathon! We had to drag our heavy luggage in the dark almost a kilometre to find a taxi to get to the airport. We stayed here for 10 nights and were charged the highseason price (new years eve) for every night! This 1500 euros was a robbery! Breakfastroom was boring and dark, so we didn't have breakfast at the hotel (price was 12 euros/person).
This was my second time in this hotel. I had a room with a sea view and it was just wonderful. Bathroom is roomy and clean, bed is good. There is't restaurant or bar, but you really don't need them when the location is perfect. I really loved my visit . I'll come again definately. Susanna
I left my glasses in hotel and they immediately contacted me in Florence. They sent them to me in the US and the mail lost them. It took many e-mails back and forth with the hotel before the mail finally found them and the hotel never gave up looking. It actually took three months for them to arrive and this was because the hotel pursue them vigorously. I can't thank them enough. The service was also very good and the location is wonderful
Its a modern boutique style decoration very comfortable clean - its my second visit as the first was such a special experience central to Old Port & Flower Market A tip book garden view as it looks down the Promenade Anglaise westerly
Booked at short notice for a long weekend. The buses from the airport stop almost outside. The 98 bus is 6 Euro but if you get the free shuttle bus to terminal 1 you can walk out to the main road and get the 52 which is 1.50 Euro for a single trip or buy a longer ticket; see below. There is a small lift. We did not use the additional breakfast as it was 12 Euro each. There is a coffee shop next door which serves freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh coffee at a good price. It is two minutes walk to the stone beach and five minutes walk to the start of the old town and the nearest tram stop. A solo card is 1.50 Euro and lets you travel on tram and busses for 74 minutes (but not a return journey). You can buy a day ticket for 5 Euro and a week ticket for 15 Euro. The lift up inside the tower to the castle is now free.
Nice clean room, friendly staff, average facilities. However this hotel is in a great location near the old town and the promenade. Reception staff were excellent. The city tour bus goes from right outside. I recommend that if time in Nice is limited.
Tired room with fantastic views. Some furniture upgrades would surely bump up the quality of this tired little hotel. The Housekeeping also needs improvement. There was a weird stench in the hallway, almost like sewage spills. Other then that, great views (if you paid for it) and Super convenient location!
First time traveling so late in the year to Nice and was pleasantly surprised with the 22-24 degrees max. Was there specifically to visit the Eileen Gray house in Roquebrune which was amazing!!! Fantastic location (garden view )as stated in previous reviews. I was on the 4th floor and tbh when I saw the room I was a bit worried at first when I saw his close the bed was to the door which opened out onto a tiny balcony. The door didn’t lock at all (see pics) and as at times I sleep walk I really was afraid of getting up in the night opening the door and falling down from the balcony. I spoke with the very nice receptionist who suggested I close down the electric shutters at nights which I did but I would worry about this balcony if there are children in the room. I do believe it is a safety issue and should be reviewed by the hotel. Slept really well ! Bed was so comfy!! Shower looks like it’s new and was a pretty large walk in space. Had breakfast one of the mornings and it was very good ...professional and very helpful staff assisting when necessary. Beautiful views as well. Room is dark and pretty small but it’s the location that matters in my opinion. Btw there is a late night(2am close) salsa bar right next to the hotel but this did not-effect me as I was overlooking place massena . Merci
This hotel is located at a stone’s throw from the Mediterranean Sea on one side and Place Massena (tourist attraction) on the other. It was a small room with three single beds for three of us. It had a small balcony which offered beautiful views of the French Riviera. Airport shuttle had a drop off point merely minutes from this hotel. Very good location!
