first we have booked an another budget hotel in Nice and we did not wanted to stay there for some reasons and we came to Albert 1er and we checked in there as walk in guests, at front desk Janina ( hope i spelled your name correct ) helped us and asked a staff to show us some rooms and we decided to pick that room which has a wonderful garden view ( there is big park area and you may see the Espace Massena from window such fairytale ) (room 309 ) which is actually such a room that you may like to stay for Honeymoon or anniversaries. so it was V-day special for us and so that hotel made it up all for us after bad experience. Hotel has perfect location if you want to come here by bus from Nice Cote D'azur airport than the bus number 98 just stops in front of hotel ( jardin Albert 1er ) hotel has comfortable beds, automatic roller shutters ( windows ). at arrival to the room ,hotel provides such free refreshments in mini bar ( soda water and still water ) coffee and tea facilities. enough spacious wardrobes and enough hangers, big screen tv with international channels , free special soaps , shower gels in bathroom and renewed when its finished. hotel is very modern and makes you feel safe and at home. this hotel thinks all for you and provided the best as possible as it can and i stay all around europe and can tell this is the best hotel me and my gf ever stayed. ( plus lovely staff such Maids and front desk staff always ready for help in front desk ) . we could also watch all events such Nice Carnaval , Flower parade, and light show from the room's bay window. so far we had such a great and unforgettable experience in Albert 1er and in Cote d'azur. thanks for all and if we go back lovely Nice again we absolutely choose this hotel ) Very very Recommended.

Stayed in this hotel in December and had a great time. The hotel is perfectly situated for the old town and the promenade, the rooms were spotlessly clean and the reception staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. Our room was overlooking the central park which had the Christmas Fair on at the time and the view of the giant Ferris wheel all lit up was stunning. All round it was a great experience and would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Perfect hotel for a small trip to Nice. Close to everything you need to watch, when you are in Nice. My gf and I only used the hotel only to sleep and it was perfect for that. Only little thing was that our bedroom was up to our nabos toilet. Could be loud sometimes, when they were in bath.

I upgraded to a room with a view of the ocean and it is wonderful. There is a small deck and french doors leading out. The sunsets are beautiful, the room is clean and the location is great. I am also happy with the price.

This year it was not so good as the 4 years before. The staff at the rezeption not so friendly as the years before. This year i had booked drectly bei Albert 1 er. The other years i booked by different agenturs.

Stoped in Nice and stayed in this hotel just for one night on the way to Sanary sur Mer to pass christmas holiday. we booked directly from their website for a garden view room. we arrived in Nice early in the morning and wanted to just leave our luggage in the hotel. however when we arrived at 11am in the morning, the reception told us that the room was ready and we may have our room checked in. we were very happy. we got our room on the 5th floor and the room exactly as described on their website, good size of room and very clean, the bathroom is also very nice and modern. it has stunning view to the city garden of Nice and place Massena and it is very quiet. it also has a small balcony. The staffs are very friendly and helpful and the wifi worked very well. will surely come back and stay in this hotel when visiting Nice in the future.

This is a lovely hotel, very nicely situated for a walk along the promenade or a visit to the old town and all the shopping areas. The room we had was fantastic, big and beautifully decorated, with a small balcony and sea view. Our friend's room was equally splendid. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived early, but were still allowed to check in to our rooms.

Great hotel in a wonderful position. We had a garden view room on the 5th floor which normally overlooks the park, due to the time of the year we overlooked the Christmas market, it was magical. The hotel was clean, warm, modern rooms with tea and coffee in the room. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly and we could not have asked for anything more from a short break. The location is ideal for visiting the old town, visiting the flower and food market and the views from the top of castle hill were stunning. The buses from the airport were easy to access and the trains and trams were very reliable as we went to Cannes for a day out. The Christmas market is small but enjoyable with a big wheel ride which has amazing views both during the day and at night.

Rooms are very bad and All items are very old .Only your reception was very Good İn rooms several small animals inside of old wood beds we will never stay in your hotel and you will get from us very bad feedbacks and persons in reception very good

This was our third trip to Nice, FR and we wanted a location close to Old Town and the restaurants we love to explore. This hotel was situated between the water and the village. Small front reception area staffed with lovely and happy service agents who spoke both French and English. The room was as we expected, small for american standards. The bath was tiny, but for our 4 days it was enough. The room was clean and the hotel was not full. One our second night the room next to us was booked and we could hear the guests all night. The coffee station in the room was stocked with only decaf coffee. When we asked if we could have some regular coffee, we were told that there was regular coffee in the cafe (lunch room) for a fee. We didn't bite and went elsewhere for our cafe. We did not eat at this hotel. The Wifi on the 6th floor was not good. The elevator is tiny, 2 people MAX and that was a bit un-nerving. the hotel is a solid 3 star with no real issues. they could ask more and engage with clients more, but we only paid off season rates. I would look elsewhere for in-season pricing as this hotel is no value in May.
