Check-in was easy and the staff were courteous and friendly. The hotel lobby was very pleasant and well decorated.
Our room was in an annexe building attached to the hotel. The entrance was through a door from the car park, and we then had to negotiate a steep flight of stairs with our luggage, which was quite a feat.
The room was pleasant enough, but strangely had a quite dated looking jacuzzi in the corner of the bedroom. The bathroom, with shower and toilet, was quite small, and needed some updating.
Maybe more space could be utilised, by losing the jacuzzi and making the bathroom a little larger.
The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and we slept very well.
The hotel is situated in a very convenient location, with a large car park at the rear, next to the centre of the beautiful, picturesque town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, where there are lots of restaurants, bars and independent stores
Would we stay here again? Yes, definitely in NOTL, but, sadly, not in this hotel. I think in it’s day, this property would have been ideal, but maybe it is living on it’s past reputation, rather than investing in more modern facilities for it’s guests. Just an opinion.
