Nice size room in quiet location. Enjoyed spending time in the room.
Nice quiet location, friendly staff and a nice breakfast. Will stay again if we are in the area.
We enjoyed our stay and the location was great. It was about 1.5 miles from town so it was away from the hustle and bustle but close enough for easy access. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean but smelled a little musty so housekeeping used a spray that helped. Beds were comfy and towels plentiful. Continental breakfast had most anything you could want. We enjoyed taking our breakfast out on the patio. Would return again. NOLA Was a trip to remember.
Came for the Shaw Theatre Festival. Good place to stay with close proximity to the downtown and theaters!
Wifi went out during the stay, and staff kept insisting that there was nothing wrong with it and I should just restart my phone. I eventually had to go across the street to Tim Horton's to get wifi. It came back on while I was gone, but there was no apology.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Niagra on the Lake. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast. The staff was very nice and quite accomidating. The only suggestions I would make are that our toilet needed to be bolted down all the way and the carpet in our room had a ripple that needed to be stretched so that no one would trip.
Average place to stay. Outside of town and quite a walk. Rooms an breakfast were ok
If you are looking for a bit cheaper within walking distance of down town this was a perfect hotel
As a Best Western, most travelers would know what to expect. At this particular hotel, the staff was a model of helpfulness and professionalism--from the cookies that you get on arrival (mentioned by another reviewer), to helpful answers to useful questions (e.g., where to get American money changed), to instructions on using the printer in the laptop in the lobby. While it is about a mile from the Shaw Festival and the shops on Queen Street, it can easily be walked (and is obviously not far by car). On later visits to the Shaw Festival, I definitely plan to stay at this hotel.
Good location, friendly helpful staff, decent breakfast. Beds were hard. Walls were thin. Cookies on arrival were a nice touch.
The Hotel is in a beautiful city. The stuff is kind and help by questions.
We are very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was clean, quiet and very easy to get to. The beds were very comfortable with down comforters. Breakfast included was very good and the staff preparing the breakfast were very pleasant and personable. The front desk clerk was also very pleasant and personable. The exercise facility was adequate and I found that the bike was broken but the cross-trainer and treadmill were in good working order. Overall, I would definitely recommend this facility for those on a budget who also want a really nice place to stay. Well done Butler Inn!
Location convenient for the Shaw Festival plays (a 3/4 mile walk or a short drive), comfortable if somewhat small rooms, very comfortable beds, good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. We plan to return her on our next visit.
