I arrived on November 2nd. We had Typhoon Damrey hit on November 3rd. The staff was very calm and collected during the storm even when the patrons of the hotel weren't. My room took some serious water damage from the storm forcing the water under my door on the 16th floor. I didn't complain as I'm from Florida and use to tropical systems and having been through Irma a month before didn't bother me. I asked them to send up extra towels and within 5 min I had 2 guys with 4 towels at my door. I couldn't get my floor to dry and they insisted on moving me to a new room even though I understood it wasn't their fault and didn't bother me. It did however bother the manager and she insisted on moving me. She moved me to a room at the front of the hotel and may I say WOW!!! Spectacular view. Every night I took a bath (I only take showers) and stared out at the city lights and it helped me relax tremendously! Their in house dining (Feast) is AMAZING!!! At home I never eat breakfast nor lunch but only dinner. Since I've been here I haven't missed a meal! Chef Dunken has put together a fenemonal buffet for breakfast and dinner! The fried spring rolls and Pho are better than I've had from any of the local places. I don't think I've had anything off the menu that wasn't without a doubt stellar. During the day after hanging out on the beach or traveling the city to see the sights you can sit on the deck overlooking the sea and enjoy everything from a smoothie and coffee to a long island ice tea (my favorite) and feel the nice sea breeze blow on you while you sit in the shade and unwind. If you've had a real long tough day, try out the spa with a massage. After Damrey hit the elevators went down for an hour and I had to take the stairs down and up and my legs were so sore I could hardly walk the next day. After my massage I relaxed that night. When I awoke, my legs weren't stiff and sore and was able to conduct my business that I needed to do. I was here for 10 days and not only did the staff know me by looks, they took the time to know me by name. They always greeted me with a smile and asked how I was doing, some including the sous chef took the time out of his busy schedule to have a light conversation with me and made me feel like I wasn't here alone and made my 10 day business trip seem like four days. I really am going to miss this hotel and it's staff but am looking forward to my stay here next year when I come. This place will not only make you feel welcome but as if you were home and with your family. Thank you Mrs Katherine and the rest of the staff for all the warmth you've shown me during my stay.
I was in Sheraton Nha Trang a day after Storm Damrey hit hard in Nha Trang. Despite of the storm, the staffs of Sheraton Nha Trang performed their duties at their best and shown their professionalism despite many of the staffs and their families suffered pretty bad from the storm. Well done to all the staffs in Sheraton Nha Trang! I will be back and definitely bring friends along to support your property.
We loved our stay at the Sheraton and in Nha Trang! The Sheraton is a lovely hotel in a great location but it is the staff that make the place incredibly special. We will most certainly be going back!
Stayed 2 night in here to recharge the batteries while backpacking through Vietnam. The room was very good, had a wonderful view of the sea. Beds were very comfy. Pool was very nice too, although the sun can be gone in the late afternoon in October. Breakfast was amazing with very good selection and exceptional quality. Staff were faultless.
I stayed at Rosaka, Intercontinental and then the Sheraton and I have to say that the Sheraton is the best. The location is perfect and provides great views. In every aspect it outshines the others The staff is much friendlier and more attentive than in other places the bar at the rooftop provides an excellent view and good happy hour The wine bar has exceptional selection of wine
What an awesome experience! Our room was available upon our check-in and the room itself was amazing. The staff here definitely make this hotel even more desirable (along with the location). I would also recommend a massage at Shine while staying here!
100m from the beach, has the best breakfast spread, polite staff, great view!! You don’t need more. Breakfast was simply amazing and have never seen a spread like that. Rooms are great and well equipped.
We purchased our 6 nights at Sheraton Nha Trang as part of a package through Luxury Escapes. The hotel is larger than we would usually stay at and therefore does not have a 'resort' feel. It is situated across the road from a nice beach where The Sheraton provide umbrellas and banana lounges for their guests. The hotel staff cannot be faulted. From restuarant manager, food & beverage manager, travel desk personnel, through to the bar staff, spa staff and house keeping, all were friendly and accommodating. From the day we arrived they went out of their way to know our names, greeted us each time we entered the restauarant, making sure our group was seated together. Our room was on the 15th floor with a nice view of the beach. Our room often had a slightly musty smell? The bed and furnishings were all great with the only negative being the bathroom. The drawers/cupboard doors of the vanity were old and worn and really need a facelift. Breakfast at The Sheraton is a real treat, as is their buffet dinner. Eating is a real treat at this hotel. It is well located next to a shopping centre with a supermarket. The roof top bar is awesome!! The spa has an extensive range of treatments - if only we could have stayed longer to work our way through them. The pool area is lovely and the pool side staff attentive.
Stayed for six nights in a Junior suite with club access. We were sold the club floor where they claimed you could have breakfast instead of competing for food in the main restaurant. There was no breakfast service available in the club lounge and no explanation as to why not. The Assistant Restaurant Manager, Ms Onhe, was excellent and her kind caring of us was the highpoint of our stay.
It is nice to have a pro active Manager, that will go out of their way to rectify the situation We stayed at the Sheraton for 6 nights and booked a couple of tours through the Sheraton tour desk, unfortunately the first tour a sunset cruise was the worst ever tour I have been on. I alerted the manager Salina Low to the problem, she was empathic and did not dismiss the problem as the tour operators problem, next I knew the Manager of the tour company was in the hotel understanding and trying to rectify the situation, pleased to say the next trip to the countryside was excellent, on our return there were flowers, champagne and the room had been themed, a pro active approach by an excellent manager that turns a disaster into a positive experience, one last mention, the staff at the Sheraton could not have been better, from the bell boy who seemed to have a smile permanently pasted on his face to Tay who was such a delightful young man who looked after us so very well
