Room was clean/comfortable and looked to be newly renovated. Lots of amenities on site including mini-golf, playground, pool with waterslides, and a convenience store. A little dissapointed that waterslide was closed when we arrived on Sept 16th. I was told at the front desk they shut it down for the season on Sept 15th. This was after I called the resort on Sept 13th to verify if the waterslide would be open, to which I was told it would be in operation until Sept 19th. The sign on the front desk also said it was open until the 19th.

Went to the area to experience the pounding Pacific storms pounding against the rocks. Got clear weather and no storms. Still had a great time. Lodge was wonderful. Very limited number of restaurants open in Winter. Best bet is a restaurant called ‘Shelter.’
