Very helpful courteous staff. Clean, no bad views (we had 3 rooms), and heavenly beds indeed.

We were on the 19th floor overlooking the river and the French Quarter. Only stayed one night after staying 4 nights previously at another hotel during New Years and Sugar Bowl. We decided to stay an extra night in New Orleans due to the discounted rate after the holiday. We were not disappointed. Everyone was super nice and helpful, especially the gentleman at the front check in who assisted us with our luggage.

We had a great time. The Westin may be a little dated, but so what? It’s clean, convenient, and affordable. We had no problem with noise. Beds were so comfy, I almost didn’t wake up! Definitely will stay here again.

Only stayed one night. Hotel was very nice and convenient to the French Quarter.

Comfortable hotel with a good footprint near French quarter. Service of hotel is average at best. The amenities are poorly maintained. You get what you pay for.

I booked this hotel because it was pretty close to the French Quarter and was a great price. We had a great view, cleanish room and (for the most part) the staff were very pleasant. But that's where it all ended for me. Their elevators were constantly getting stuck (for reals though, I got stuck in the elevator for a minute, it was not cool) or were shaking because they were pretty old. On two separate occasions we tried to get into our room only to find our cards didn't work and had to get reprogrammed. The bathroom smelt...weird...just weird. Like musty or sour or something. And lastly, but worst of all, we got "checked out" at 4:30 in the morning on our last night and housekeeping kept walking into our room in the morning to kick us out. One of the staff started yelling about us in the hall over a radio to another staff member. I called the front and the woman at the front desk fixed this for me immediately and was accommodating. However I would neverrrrr stay here again!

Nice location, pretty walkable but the hotel didn't have much personality and our room wasn't cleaned despite being gone from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm. Great view of the Mississippi but otherwise expensive for what it is.

Great value and hotel. Close to everything. I highly recommend.

The hotel is located on top of an upscale shopping mall. Everything in the building is clean and in excellent condition. Our room had an excellent view of the river. The hotel is close to the French Quarter, and perfect for anyone that's visiting a show at the nearby House of Blues. Also, while there is valet parking, the building has a parking garage that costs $30.00 per day after taxes. It's a reasonable price for New Orleans and very convenient.

The hotel was great, location was nearby all the places we toured. The staff were very helpful and the view from our room was very nice too with the view of the river. I highly recommend this hotel!

Room cleanliness a concern floor was never vacuumed, noticeable deprie found upon entry and throughout stay. Bathroom and bedding below par. Was transferred from initial room because an overwhelming amount of ants were in room. Maintenance worker who canbto spray room was very nice apologetic and really reminded me of what a Westin experience should be. With concern Regarding weather and prior room change I didn’t want to add to staffs stress so I endured. Very very very disappointing breakfast for the price and the subpar experience food temperature was not adequate selection on menu was not reflected within buffet, omelet was brought from another area was poorly made, cold and on a dirty plate. Just not the Westin experience that made me an advert member.

Accommodating earlier check in. great river views came with the whistle of river steam boat

We enjoyed our selves, the hotel breakfast buffet was phenomenal. The location was close to things we wanted to see and do.

Very nice luxurious rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Close to Bourbon Street and French Quarter. Would definitely stay there again. Loved the view of the Canal and French Quarter from our room.

I had to wait an hour to check in because they lost my reservation and said orbitz never send to us. When I booked two rooms. One under me and the other under my buddy. They had my friends reservation not mine. And this is in 2 in the morning after a very long drive. Then next day My iron wasn't working and I called downstairs for a new iron and it took them almost an hour to bring the iron which made me late for my meeting. I asked for the manager to call me which that never happen.

Hotel needs new things, but it was fine for a couple nights

Nice hotel, very spacious rooms. Wish the pool was opened but it's closed permanently.ij close walking distance to EVERYTHING !

Check in was a breeze, great room with a nice view of the river! I recommend the deluxe room because it is spacious. The sitting area ( where you check in) is a great place to sit have a drink and enjoy the view. The shopping, food, great art galleries and the french market are all within walking distance. We did take the river tram transportation to the french flea market which is 1.25 each way and it is a 3 min walk from the hotel to the tram. The bar is dark but the bartenders are very nice and make great drinks.. fyi they are pricey though.

They took $100 deposit from my debit card for "inedentals" then I didn't use any "incedentals" and they won't return my money to me. Not only will I never stay with them again but I will encourage everyone I know to do the same

Pool was not open. This was a main selling point for my vacation stay when choosing a hotel. Come to find out the pool is under renovation- but we were told we could use the le meridian hotels pool, which was a few blocks away. But who's going to want to do that- pack up everything for the pool and walk back 1/2 wet in bathing suit to the hotel?! Rooms were a nice size. Refridgerator in room was locked, we asked bellman after he dropped our bags to our room if he knew how to unlock it. He said he would send someone- that someone never showed up. The rooms do have a musty smell - probably from the high humidity in this area. Good views of city. Good location.
