Great location for shopping, Bourbon St Experience and Harrah’s casino

The staff was courteous, but the treatmen did not feel universal with regards to all patrons.

Beds were not comfortable at all but other than that the hotel was accommodating

My husband and I liked how close to everything we were. Walking distance to EVERYTHING! The rooftop pool was great too. I did not expect after paying my bill in full PRIOR to our stay that we would be charged an additional $50/per night holding fee on our credit card ($150)....took away from our available cash flow to use on vacaction.

Historical property was nice. Morning bar staff were great. Evening bar staff not so much.

Very nice hotel in excellent location. Accessible to everything in the French Quarter within walking distance. Very clean and secure accommodations. Staff is polite, courteous, and accommodating.

Rooms were clean and well kept. Only recommendation would be for them to clean the elevator floors more.

Nice clean room. Very convenient location. Friendly helpful staff.

Be sure your room doesn't have a room overlooking the kitchen vent fans, might as well try to sleep inside a jet engine. Inside rooms on 4-5-6 may have a HUGE noise issue.

I was very disappointed in the room itself. The carpet was discolored and stained. There was also what looked like bleach spills/stains on the carpet. The sink bowl was chipped and cracked. The tub was dingy and looked dirty even though it seemed to be clean. Same with the toilet. The furniture in the room was scratched and worn. The front desk staff was exceptional. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable.

Some of the staff were unhelpful and rude. Amenities were non-existent.

It islocatednear everything. Food at bourbon house restraunt was very good. Maid service great, have sysyed here many times and have always been pleased

The hotel lobby was very pleasing. We didn't hear any street noise from our room and had a nice view but our room wasn't very clean and smelled like it was smoked in. We also paid for the valet parking for two days and had to wait about 40 minutes outside for our car.

The location was terrific. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is in a good location in the French quarter if it's your thing. We visited NO for the first time and decided to stay here. However, it is too noisy at night for sleeping. We had long walk to get to our rooms. The room is narrow and small, and really not all that clean, especially the shower. It was one of the smallest hotel that I have ever stayed in. Bed was fine to sleep in. Noisy air conditioner. Lobby and restaurant are good. We didn't eat at the restaurant but it looked nice. In summary, I think the rooms need renovating and cleaning. And the price is too high for the weekend, but I understand the location. I would stay somewhere else for better value. French quarter is a walking place, and lot of hotels are here also.

Hotel is located in one of the worst areas on Canal Street. Our room was over the entrance of the hotel facing Canal Street. Construction noise, ambulances, police and fire truck sirens all night long. Street festival noises till midnight. Street preacher with bull horn early mornings. Air blower motor at main entrance sounds like a garbage truck running all night. Prostitutes, pimps, homeless, drunks, crack heads, hoodlums from all walks of life greet you at the door at all times of the day. No valet on duty in early morning. Valet service sucks for $47.00 per night. Had to wait an hour to get our car after complaining to supervisor and front desk. Was told at checkout that there were earplugs in every room to block noise. Should have told me when I checked in. In the famous words of Betty Davis "What a dump!.
