Astor Crowne Plaza New Orleans

This hotel has a great location next to burbon street. Easily walk to the majority of the tourist attraction, food and places to get drinks. The room was clean and mondern. I did not hear any loud noises, talking or yelling from the room next door. During the parades it is required you wear your hotel wristband. This prevented random people going up to the rooms of the hotels.

Great place to enjoy all the Mardi Gras festivities!!!

Have stayed at this hotel 3 times over the last few years and it never disappoints. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and staff is very nice.

Nice hotel with friendly staff very close to Bourbon Street in the heart of downtown with all the shopping. down the street from the casino very good location

Great location right on Bourbon and Canal. Super walkable. Very nice lobby and rooms. We were on the 10th floor but could still hear the live music that goes on in the streets until late, but it did get quiet eventually. Valet parking is high. You can park for a little cheaper at a lot right behind the hotel with very little inconvenience.

There's one entrance into the hotel and it seems that entrance is ALWAYS surrounded by homeless, drunks and the other dregs os society. This hotel needs a serious renovation. ROOM: The beds were the hardest beds I've ever lay upon, as were the pillows. So many stains on the linen, towels and carpet makes you wonder how much the staff even care about the hotel. The shower was in working condition, but looks as though it hasn't been remodeled since the 1970's (same with the carpet). The only bright spot was the TV worked without issue. HOTEL: As soon as you walk into the hotel, it feels as though the temperature just dropped by 15 degrees. Not sure why they keep it so cold, especially since it's almost Winter. The lobby is very small/narrow that there are many bottlenecks. The corridor to the elevator is extremely dark/cold, as are the corridors to the rooms. Maybe they're trying to hide the outdated wallpaper or stained flooring. STAFF: The staff were courteous and helpful, especially Lily (young Chinese woman). One minor complaint we had was our room wasn't serviced for 3 days, even though we had the sign on our door to service. Granted, we left our room every morning by/before 10AM, so maybe they bypass your room after a certain time. A call down to the front desk was enough to get them to send up new towels. They also tried to charge us for a few long distance phone calls that we never made (we have cell phones).

Staff was nice. Bed was very comfortable ! Location was fabulous. We would stay there again.

Room needs a fridge in the room and a pad of paper.

Beautiful hotel located in the heart of New Orleans!

Great staff, held our luggage after check out as we had a late flight. Worked perfectly. Always cleaned room and always polite.

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past without any major issues. This time however, there was an apparent issue with housekeeping because our room was not serviced for 3 of our 4 nights at the hotel. We were out of the room each day by mid-morning and would not return until late afternoon before heading back out to enjoy the NOLA nightlife. After calling to have clean towels and toiletries sent up on our second night and being reassured that our room would be serviced the following day, it was another 36 hours, three phone calls to the front desk / housekeeping, and one in person visit to the desk before our room was serviced. We were offered a $50.00 room service / restaurant credit for the inconvenience upon checkout. Very disappointing stay.

Ants in bathroom. Huge red stain in carpet. Hair in shower & on bathroom door. The only positive is the location, that's it.

The lobby area is nice and well kept. We had a few interactions with different staff members and they all were professional and very helpful. The location is fantastic in that the trolley stops are out your door, you are very close to the superdome and you are on Canal and Bourbon street. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone. This is the second time in the lkast 4 months that we have stayed in this hotel and we have had a great experience both times.

Our room had a view of canal street. It was convenient to walk in all directions we felt right in the middle. Bells man were all very friendly and ready to help us out with food suggestions! We WILL be staying there again.

Great location and friendly staff, definitely the place you want to stay if you want something close to Canal and Bourbon Street.

Easy on and off the bourbon strip. Right next to other hotels that worked out for my convention which was hosted at multiple location. Being Next to Canal ST made it easy to grab cab and uber in area which is always hectic.

Good location. Right on bourbon st. And in the middle of everything

Took a long weekend in Nola. This hotel was perfect location and clean and comfortable. Look forward to staying here next time.

The key to this hotel is its proximity to the tourist hot spots. It's on the corner of Canal Street and Bourbon. The accommodations are well in line with what you pay for a night. The critical failure on their part is their wifi. We stayed for eight nights and the wifi worked two of those days. On most days it didn't even come up as an option. This is a deal breaker.

Right on bourbon and canal street, perfect for entertainment. Parking was pricey and not on site
