The apartment was clean and communication was great. The check-in process was easy and glad there was parking on-site to make that easy. The neighborhood seemed a little rough and there were quite a few transients walking around, but we felt safe inside the apartment, behind 2 locked doors. Definitely not the owners fault but just something to be mindful of.

It was a great space to come and go while we had a sweet girls trip to New Haven and surrounding areas to enjoy a Yale College tour and fall leaves!!!

We stayed one night on a road trip to Maine. The parking was a bit confusing, first finding the parking lot and then where to park in it, as there were no painted lines, broken up asphalt, a very low hanging tree, and a “no parking” sign under our window which is exactly where I would have parked.The space is decorated nicely, but was not clean. We blew dust off the chess board to play a game. The plug in air freshener was badly covering up stink from the musty basement and the poorly cleaned microfiber bedding. I pulled a t-shirt from my suitcase to cover the smell so I could try to get some sleep, only to wake up to a smoke alarm chirp from a detector in the hallway at 3am. The host did not respond to our complaint, and we got zero sleep. The smoke detector in the bedroom had been removed completely.This place is neglected and unsafe. Do not recommend.

I had a pleasant stay at the Sicilian. Arriving was easy and communication with host was great! It's a little further than what I would've preferred but I still walked to Yale because the weather was perfect. The apartment was very clean and had all the essentials for a short stay

Cute rental till sleeping

This is such a cute rental. The layout is great! So clean and comfortable. Plenty of room. My only slight issues was the bed as it was rock hard and you can hear everyone coming in and out of the property for the other rooms. I understand you cannot control the noise and it is a room and not full house rental so I definitely still give it 5 stars and would absolutely stay again!!!
