There were roaches in our bathroom. Left immediately and requested a refund, but have not heard back from orbitz yet
My reservation said continental breakfast included but no breakfast was offered and front desk said sorry we don’t do it anymore except weekends
When you check in and the first thing you notice is the bag of rats poison sitting behind the front desk, you walk up to your room in a filthy carpet with unrecognizable color, the old 19" tube TV in the corner with limited local channels, the couple next room start their loud verbal fight after midnight. Just when they finally stop and you go to sleep, it's time to wake up, you run down for the "free" breakfast, but the cold frozen bagels next to the jug of expired milk is no match to the face of the receptionist, as you check out and his face had the "Please take me with you" look. depressing.
An example of you get what you paid for. One light didn’t work, tv poor quality with broken remote, holes in wall, toilet runs constantly, difficult to find an outlet to charge my phone, had to unplug the lamp.
We needed a good night's sleep after a long road trip and this hotel looked nice from the pix, but when we got there it looked like a haunted house, there were people in the lobby and in the parking lot that kept staring at us, and we felt very vulnerable. We got our food, ate, freshened up, and left. Oh, by the way, the white towels had yellow stains.
I have stayed at this hotel twice in the past year when I've had to work an event late at night and didn't feel like driving home an hour only to be back to work early the next morning. This is not a place of luxury and extreme comfort. The bed isn't greatly comfortable but it'll do for a night. The bathroom is outdated, but spacious. The room was clean, but there was an odd odor in the room that didn't go away even after running the AC for hours. Some of the outlets didn't have the plates and were even not secured to the wall. I like the convenience of the location, but like I said before this is not a place to come to if you're expecting high end luxury.
Maybe it is renovation phase, but hotel make no effort to clean outside and rooms daily. Also it seem a family is living here and children play on stair daily and leave toy for clients to trip on
It worked for a place to sleep but not in tbe Best neighborhood, strange smell, just a creepy feeling.
Only 1 set of towels, no blanket available only quilt, 3 old limp pillows, they couldn't find another pillow or blanket. Breakfast was sad.
the bathroom is dirty although the staff is nice. the breakfast is also bad.
A horrible location. I could not even stay, criminal activity was going on right in the parking lot. Staff was very rude, I ended up not staying. I did not feel safe at all.
Unsecure facility. Deplorable and in need a major maintenance. Houses long term rentals and not a safe area . PLace is falling apart .
Certainly a pleasant surprise, very nice looking hotel, since you have to drive through a semi ghetto to get there, the owner was sweet and attentive, and the room was fine, quiet and safe.Restaurants 1/4 mile walk away.GREAT value too,all the free ice I wanted with no hassles!
It is really cool when a hotel is nice enough to rent out some of its rooms to the local county welfare board so that otherwise homeless people might have a place to stay, but this property's humanitarian instinct (if that's what it was, and not simply a way to fill rooms and earn more money) might well have negatively impacted the whole property, in terms of squalor, noise, lack of security, poor housekeeping, lack of maintenance of the physical plant. Too bad.
The experience was overall average they helped me get a room with cable cause my first room didn't have it
Hotel is totally run-down , it should be condemned and shut down. Orbixx should have never associated itself with this kind of run-down hotels, so there will be consequences .
no pool like advertised. rooms had an odor. had to be buzzed into front desk. continental breakfast was coffee and english muffin
Check-in staff was rude(short/abrupt). Breakfast offered only carbs cheerios ,toast. Coffee was good. Morning staff was pleasant. Appears that the facility is being re-habbed. Probably should be avoided until repairs are complete. Bathroom was very old with layers of caulk and paint splattered around. Door did not close enough for dead bolt to be locked Not a safe feeling place,Highway noise was loud.
This hotel should get zero stars. It really is awful. It might be inexpensive (cheap), but in this case, you still don't get what you pay for. The baseboards were coming off the walls, the tub and other bathroom fixtures were worn and dirty, the heat would either stay on and cook you or stay off and freeze you. There was no shampoo, soap or tissue. The door looked like it had been broken into. It was so bad that even though we had pre-paid for a week, we left after one night. Just awful!!!!!
not good at all -tub in the bathroom not clean ni-the smell in the room nasty fly in the room the outlets no good was terrible in the breakfast area toast not working, not milk how they can call continental breakfast to that ? very bad experience i won't come back n was $70 a night n was a almost $70.00 a
