We were here a week as part of an RCI timeshare exchange. GOOD STUFF: Unit was VERY large (we got #1023). King bed downstairs w/ full attached bathroom. Living room/dining room combo, large kitchen with tons of storage and a washer/dryer in the unit. 2nd smaller bathroom downstairs. Upstairs units had either 1 queen (ours) or 2 twin beds with another full bathroom and a small living room set up. Kitchen was well stocked, including small packets of spices, coffee and soap. They provided extras if you asked at the desk. Everything was very clean. Air conditioner stopped working one day, maint. arrived to fix it within 20 min of calling. Pool (heated) was very nice and we used the onsite grills for 2 meals. The Worldmark is located VERY close to historic Gruene and we went to Gruene Hall to listen to free music twice. Enjoyed wandering in/out of all of the little shops in the old downtown. Ate at the Gristmill - very good food and unique/neat atmosphere in the old building. We were about halfway between Austin and San Antonio (45 min each way depending on traffic), so did day trips to each. NOT SO GOOD STUFF: the washer/dryer was very old and the dryer took forever to dry clothes. Needs to be replaced. The dishwasher soap dispenser would not 'pop' open at the right time so there was always soap left in the dispenser. You may want to buy your own toliet paper as the stuff in the bathrooms was VERY thin/harsh. Train - this isn't the resorts fault, but none of us got a good night's sleep the entire time we were there. The train ran several times a day and at night we were woken by the horn at least 2-3 times a night. We loved the location and would stay again, but would have to bring ear plugs or a loud white noise machine.

Wonderful place to stay. Two bedroom, two bath unit. Very Texas cowboy decor. Lots of wood. Located within walking distance to New Braunfels. A number of restaurants , shops and things to do. Gruene Hall is lots of fun. WiFi, pool, hot tub and our unit had full kitchen plus washer and dryer.

The accommodations were excellent but don't do the sales pitch unless you know how to say NO! Loved the location, within walking distance to river floating and Gruene Hall. Restaurants were close and many more within a short drive. The rooms are quiet and large. We had a great time and would go there any time there is an opening.

I'd never stayed at a Worldmark, so this was my first experience. When we walked in the place blew our minds. Full kitchen, upstairs and downstairs living, full working laundry, the works! The pool and hot tub area were excellent as well, and the property has at least two sets of gas grills for those so inclined. We chose to grill out on our last night there and it worked out great. We ate by the pool and enjoyed a swim before the pool closed down. One thing that really stood out was that the staff was on every aspect of their jobs. The trash was taken out regularly, the grounds were in wonderful shape, and the pool cleaners were dealing with the pool and hot tub at one minute after closing time, which was 10pm. Never seen that in my life! The property is in walking distance to several tubing operators right on the Guadalupe river, and historic Gruene is less than half a mile away offering wine tasting, wonderful food, and the best live music in Texas. If you're interested in getting away from it all and still enjoying some great Texas, this is the perfect place!

Just stayed for the weekend at the Worldmark for my husband's 50th bday. New Braunfels is the perfect meeting location in central Texas for groups to meet. We chose the Worldmark for its proximity to the river and tube rentals as well as the historic Gruene district. Plus, with 2 bedroom units available we were able to all be together. The hotel staff were very helpful & friendly at check in, even had a guest concierge help recommend fun things to do & see in Gruene and the surrounding area. The condos are AMAZING! Clean, comfortable with a full kitchen, complete with glassware, plates, cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc. Each room had a bathroom and there was also a 1/2 bath downstairs for guests. The hotel has gas grills around the property, so we decided to cook out one night and thoroughly enjoyed it - it was nice to visit with other guests staying there. The only downside - wifi is not free. It was $16 for up to 2 devices for 10 days. But, it was easy to sign up and log on. We floated the river and got our tubes at the Gruene River Company, literally next door to the hotel. Met for happy hour at Gruene Hall, ate at a restaurant right on the river, and had the perfect weekend. We even had time to jump into the pool at the hotel, and while it's small, it was quiet, cool & comfortable. Wish we could've stayed longer - hopefully next time!

Stayed over spring break. The cabins are so nice!! Very large and rustic!! Everyone was super friendly!! Only issue was we couldn't close the door to one of the 2nd floor bedrooms because of some kind of wind current. It was kind of amusing though.

Worldmark New Braunfels is a wonderful 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom two story condo unit that has all the amenities you need for a quick business trip or a relaxing week away. The downstairs has a living area, large dining table separating the kitchen and living area, fully stocked kitchen, master bedroom and ensuite bathroom, a utility room with washer and dryer, and a half bath. Upstairs is a bedroom with twin beds, full bath, and another living area with a pull out couch. It is only 5 minutes from excellent dining in Gruene (Grist Mill, Gruene River Grill) shopping in quaint antique shops and nice boutiques. Five minutes the other direction and you are in New Braunfels where you can get delicious Barbecue at Coopers or Rudy's. It is a 20 minute drive from San Marcos and 2 outlet malls. We have stayed here twice and will stay again.

The local area has many beautiful and historic sights from the quaint Town of Greune ( pronounced Green) just bout a mile or less from the Worldmark. Great food and local artisans and things to do. The Guadalupe river and tubing starting point is just before getting into Greune. 3 or 4 wine tasting places and lots of local sellers. You must see a show at the Greune Hall. The Bridge caverns are about 25 mins away, beautiful. The Worldmark was nice, the pool was a little small but the location was great. Our unit was two stories with each having its own bathroom and sitting area. Large living room and kitchen.

My family of 4 met my parents here for 3 nights. We had a 2 bedroom and loved it! The place was so comfortable and convenient. The area is right by the Guadalupe River near Gruene and we just had a fantastic time. The pool was refreshing and it was such a lovely time.

Nice huge condos with lofts. Beautiful interiors. Pool is on the small side but adequate. Extra half bath. Lots of storage. Close to river and easy drive to San Antonio and Austin. No bbq in unit but shared ones between units.
