Best weekend ever!

We loved staying here so much! We had about 20 college students and it was great, we definitely want to come back. Tons of room to spread out and the best outdoor space you could ask for. Great location too, only a 20 minute walk from Gruene Hall.

Glorious Gruene Guad Gathering

Despite room for 22, only 7 of us enjoyed this trip. The house is certainly unique, with lots of rooming options. Everything was clean and tidy. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. The jewel in the crown is the back yard on the river. just a beautiful, serene spot. We will be back, without doubt.

Our group of 10 had a lovely time at the house. We had dinner on the patio; the kitchen was perfect for cooking. Everyone loved the charm of the house. We even took kayaks out on the river. Hope to be back soon!

Great Time

What a great home! The setting is perfect, the water is pristine and the Cypress trees are huge. The shaded back yard is 10 degrees cooler than in the sun, plenty of space for lots of friends. The covered patio (with ceiling fans) was perfect!

We had a great time at this home! It was even better than the pictures depicted. Very cute/quaint house along the river. We enjoyed the deer walking up in the morning and the peaceful views looking out over the water. It was a great time with our dental office team to relax and enjoy each other.

Labor Day family fun.

All of our friends/family want to go back! It's a really cool old house by the river with plenty of space for yard games. Plus having the river right there with so many kayaks and tubes to use is a huge plus to the property. The owners are super nice as well.

Beautiful views, inside a little dated

We were two families with grandma and really enjoyed our stay. The views of the river are spectacular, plenty of rooms and bathrooms for everyone and great river access and equipment that we made the most of. The house is dated inside in terms of appliances and we had an AC leaking problem one night that the owners came over and took care of. Kitchen is very small for the size of the house/people but we enjoyed the nice grill outside. The one thing that would have been good to know that wasn’t in the listing is there is an RV on the property that also has the river access for renters through the same back yard river access. We thought it was private and only were told about this at checkin.
