Well - I’ll start with the room that has stained carpet and blood on the walls by the bathroom and on the power cord on the floor. Then - how my wife checked in with her male friend for separate rooms and the man asked her is she was alone - placed her friends room on the other side of the building and then woke her up at 1am pounding on the door demanding she come downstairs with him because “her credit card was fraudulent.” Mind you downstairs to the lobby is outside and through a dark parking lot. She’s alone and 120 pounds. No call first. Just pounding at the door. So she closes door and calls me. When she opens the door back up he is there waiting for her and suddenly says nevermind the card went through fine. What?? Creepy. This is hotel is gross, the staff are rude, and I’m pretty sure that man had bad intentions. The next day - staff just opened my friend’s door up not once but twice. First time demanding he should have checked out. He told them he hpaid for two nights. They stood in the doorway while he called to confirm. Then they did it again one hour later. I would never go back. I would never recommend. It was so awful.

And charges like a hotel. It sits right next to Shoneys restaurant, provides no privacy. Linen, furnishing, breakfast all are of low quality. I would give it a 3-star rating, had it charged me $75 a night instead of $90 a night.

We've stayed here a couple times when we visit family in the area. The beds are comfortably firm. the pillows were surprisingly comfortable and not flat. We had 2 queen size beds however, the room isn't overly spacious. The negative was smelling cigarette smoke when the bathroom vent was on. We requested a non-smoking room. Yes, we will stay here again

Nice hotel that fit our travel plans. The hotel staff was very pleasant and courteous. Hotel needed some better breakfast options but overall was a good hotel for our needs. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds.

It was this or the Ha. Inn and since the Ha. Inn was fully booked the week I was in Springfield, I really had no choice. At first I thought it was not going to be safe to stay there but found out the area was okay. They were undergoing renovations so the lobby was torn apart, but the staff was very sweet and very helpful in giving directions. The room was clean, the bathroom shower area needed some updating (the sink area had been remodeled) but having a microwave and refrigerator was convenient. The towels and sheets were decent quality for what I paid, 65 a night. Located next to the grocery store and a red box was a plus. Springfield is a great little town for antiquing and the hotel was very close to many shops.
