Nice hotel just not in a great neighborhood. One minute walk to train station. Other than that I wouldn't recommend walking anywhere.

Hotel room was disgusting. The walls are covered in dirt, the bathroom had mold and the shower drain barely worked. Every thing about the room was dated. Staff seemed snotty when asking a question. Only one was nice enough to call a taxi. Wifi only worked in the hotel lobby. The only reason anyone should stay in this hotel is if they want to be a minute from the train station.

Beautiful appearance, however the noise from outside is very loud. Parking is expensive. WiFi only works in the lobby unlike the ad stating that wifi is available in the room. Hard location to get to due to the train station. If you are coming in on the train it is perfect.

This was a very nice hotel. The room was nice with 2 beds and the bathroom was huge, which you usually don't see in Italy.

The hotel is right next to the train station,2 minute walk. It is one of the best places to stay for sure. It does sell out early so book ahead or you will miss out. Rooms are very clean, quite and large. Staff is wonderful. Food on site is great. Many places close to walk to for outside dinning as well. I will stay here for again for sure.

I chose this hotel because it is (extremely) to the train station, as well as subways. I did not visit the city of Napoli too much, but went to the nearby points of interests (Pompeii and Capri Island). From the hotel, you can easily take local train and ferry to these places. Room was clean, and the staff in front desk are very nice. Breakfast is also good. The only problem is it is not very safe outside. Be careful when you go outside in the evening.

We stayed at this hotel prior to our cruise and after. It was great. Very clean and had a great view of the city. I would stay there again no problem.

Very close to train station, just cross the street. The center of city also in the walking distance. Friendly staff and good breakfast.

Overall good value. This is a more modern hotel (as opposed to some of the B&B in Naples). Room was pretty big, bathroom was really nice, breakfast buffet was pretty good. Location was great if you plan to take the train to places like Pompeii, Amalfi Coast, etc as it's right across the street from the train station, and the bus that goes to the airport. Biggest negative was probably that the internet didn't work too well in the room, and you only get a code that can be used on one device (mobile phone or ipad, didn't work on a laptop computer). The front desk staff wasn't the friendliness, however spoke English which was a benefit. Others mentioned this to be a 'bad' area of Naples (and Naples in general), but that's just Naples, and I actually loved it (it's kind of like a hyper-New York City vibe). This area is not dangerous at all, just full of energy. (Sure, could be less garbage, I basically just saw person after person litter.)

Very clean and the room was very spacious! There staff was very helpful and professional. I would recommend this to everyone. Cab cannot pull up to the front door you must walk from the corner. Important to know if you have a lot of luggage

Napoli would be a challenge to seek a hotel that is not centrally located. This town can be quite intimidating to the person who has not experienced it before (quite gritty & raw). So having the hotel right out the station door was just super. Easy in and Easy out. And being so close to transportation one can save time and effort to see the history that is all around this region. The 'Star Hotel Terminus' was aged, (but everything European is), everything worked and was more spacious than one expected for a single. The most unique feature of this hotel was to be able to go up to the 7th floor terrace with a kabob sandwich and a beer, and do a picnic above the city (cool), at dusk. The breakfast was quite plentiful, compared to the usual European selection. They even had a selection of meats. The staff were very helpful and courteous.

Large room for Europe and good location right across the street from the train station. Not many places to eat nearby but couple places in station.

The hotel is located just steps away from the train station - so getting around the city was very easy. We had requested for early check in - and the room was ready when we walked in. The room was pretty spacious - and had a balcony which overlooked the main street and yet was quiet. The reason amenities has a 3 start is because the internet was not free even in the lobby - even though the description says. Also the staff was not very helpful in guiding the guests. But overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.

nice staff, modern room, central location, lavish breakfast included

Naples is hideous and I curse the person who recommended it to me. Starhotels Terminus is conveniently located across the street from the train station. The staff was semi-helpful. I think it's general European culture to be rude. I hated that you had to pay 5,50 Euro for 60 min of internet per 24 hours. The internet service in Naples is some of the worst/slowest in the country and we did not get our full 60 minutes. I will NOT be returning.

Great location, good breakfast and nice staff but the hotel itself is getting run down and needs paint and some repairs

The Star Hotel is located at the train terminal which is a very busy area. Once inside it is a great quiet place with much class for it's value. The staff was more than helpful with underground secure parking. Naples is not a city which one wants to drive in.
