Do not stay in this hotel, we paid € 1422 for 6 nights and feel cheated. I have send NH hotels the pictures of the room and especially the worn out shower, but they take their guests not serious. This hotel does not reach the normal hotel standards you are expecting paying more than € 200 a night.

I booked this hotel as a surprise birthday present for my mum, on the website, the hotel looks perfect, however in real life it is nothing alike. 1. The staff when we arrived we're so rude. They ignored us two at first. After going up several times to check if our room was ready, as check in was 3pm, but paid for early check in, at 1pm. They kept us waiting until half 4 for our room. Never even apologised for the wait. 2. The room was dirty when we arrived, even though the cleaner had literally just come out of the room. As in the pictures, you can see that the floor was still dirty and not hoovered, there were hairs on the hinges of the shower glass door; that didn't move either. There were stains on the walls of the shower and even in the room. The toilet smelt like it hasn't been cleaned in ages and it stunk out the whole room. Overall, the room was just in a poor condition. When letting the staff know at the reception about this and showing them the pictures, they said they couldn't do anything and walked off. No apology, no change of room. Nothing. We ended up cleaning it ourselves because they wouldn't do anything. 3. The photos on the website are totally different to the actual rooms there. So don't be fooled. The website photos look absolutely amazing and that's why I booked there, however on arrival, I realised it was a big mistake and that it was nothing alike. 4. When booking, I booked a large queen bed and it was confirmed, as well as the price. However, we were given 2 single beds and on check out, they tried to charge me even more, and tried to charge me for apparently using their mini bar in the room. The only good thing about this stay was the view from the bedroom when we got in there and that is the only reason I gave it a 1 star, otherwise I would have just given it 0 stars. I don't advise staying here personally.

Arrived and was offered a complimentary upgrade to a nearly top floor room, which was incredible, in future I would happily pay the extra for the view and beautiful room. The hotel is ever so slightly dated but still beautiful appointed, small touches like the light in the shower not working would not put me off staying again, Breakfast was lovely however the hot options were rather limited, the cold options however are definitely extensive, with a good range of juices smoothies and health foods.

nh hotel is located center of Naple Tour. all kind of tour site is able to come to walk and my receptionist ; Rossella, she upgraded to The Superia room , 30 floor. and the kindness service makes me to not to forget day here. i recommand to you every type of visit here Napoli you should come to NH hotel.

The staff is amazing gentle and friendly.... and we was lucky enough that we had the occasion of staying in one of the room at last floor where all is super new stylish and with a breathtaking view... service great and right in the middle of the center of the city with the highest view in downtown. You must go and check... the experience was unforgettable and super positive. Thank you to all the staff and concierge.

This hotel is perfectly positioned to enjoy Naples. The hotel is well appointed and the rooms are comfortable with everything you might need. Its a city centre hotel so its been hard used and there was some minor cosmetic damage to the room but it was clean, serviced promptly with more than enough space and amenities a traveller needs.

Having used the NH Ambassador and NH Collection hotels for my tour group in Spain and the Netherlands, I had high expectations for the NH Napoli Ambassador. Sorry to say that this hotel disappointed on every level except the view of the harbour. The Front Desk was not prepared for our arrival, despite reconfirming emails and phone calls. At 4:00 PM in the afternoon, some of the rooms were still not ready for my tired tour members who had been in the heat of Pompeii all day. When making the group booking I was obliged to take half pension, meaning we had breakfast and dinner in the hotel. Breakfast was pretty much the usual offering. There was no choice of menu for the group dinner however. We simply had to eat what they flung in front of us. One man served as bar tender, waiter, bus boy for 36 people. The rigatoni first course was cold and tainted by the taste of spoiling sardines. The second course was an unapetizing conglomeration of squid, over-cooked shrimp, chikory and potatoes. Judging from the mountain of food the waiter scraped off the plates, it was not just me who found it disgusting. (I am a seafood lover) although the rooms presented fresh white linen, the corners of the baths and showers were black with mildew. Though porterage had been pre-arranged and paid for, the group was forced to bring their own luggage downstairs because there was just one porter for a hotel with approximately 300 rooms. Rafaello, the senior front desk clerk was nothing other than rude and when questioned twice on the same issue, uttered an inappropriate sexist epithet, assuming that I did not understand any Italian. I could go on for another 1000 characters, but suffice to say, avoid the NH Napoli Ambassador if you have to go to Naples.

I'd never thought in writing a bad opinión about an NH, but I have to. It needs urgently a refurbishment (see pictures of our room) and, at least, a hard cleaning; i.e., regulation of hot wáter is between cold, very hot and hell (very old regulator). And if you're looking for fruit at breakfast, forget any hope. 4 days with the same pattern; scarcity of pieces (see pictures), and absolute lack of sliced fruit (we had to wait a minimum of 10-15 min. to get a few slices of pineapple and mellon). Staff always said 'it's coming', but with no action. On the other hand, location is excellent to visit Naples downtown, and if you get a high floor, views are superb. And reception desk staff was sympatethic and trying to help. This opinion doesn't mean that I won't come back to NH, but yes, I'll never come back to this NH.

The location of this hotel is convenient for the Castel Nuovo and the port for the hydrofoil to Capri. The room was cramped and in need of a refit especially the bathroom. There was black mould all around the shower for example. I tend to opt for chain hotels for consistent standards but on this occasion the NH fell short. I have stayed in a number of NH hotels and the room at this one was poor in comparison. I have also found the breakfasts in the NH chain to be good but again this one did not have the variety of things on offer that I have had in Genoa, Palermo and Catania. I am rethinking my whole preference for chain hotels. The room was often not cleaned until late afternoon.

Great hotel with terrific staff. Wonderful breakfast buffet included in our price. The best part was that our son had a separate bedroom in our suite. Located in walking distance to the pier. I would stay there again
