The breakfast for the land of food,Italy was horrible, cold eggs, factory made bread, factory juice, worst and cheapest kind of cheese and one type only, worst and cheapest kinds of ham.I mentioned on my request about our anniversary date, they didn t do anything at all which is so unusual cause most famous and chained hotels give special services on special occasions.the room was cold and I asked for heating system, yet they didn t do anything about it.good view , clean room and good location are the benefits of this hotel which is not worthy the price,my opinion:go for a local hotel rather than these careless brands.
Nice view on old town and harbor from 25th stock. Directly under hotel is private parking. 25 euro for standard car and day. Pretty expensive and for the future I will use taxi. Many restaurants near to the hotel. Standard european breakfest.
The hotel's location is good and may be the only few high rise hotel around the center area, you will have a good city view if you stay on the higher level. Other than that the hotel is just average, the interior was old and worn, need refurbishment.
Napoli is beautiful city, there are lots of to see. Museum, Place and Castles. Surrounding also there are many sightseeings. such as pompei, Lucrino and Pozuorri, many volcano sites. Amalfi coast is half hour drive away.
We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in November and have mixed views on it. On the positive side, the location is excellent, within walking distance of main sights, restaurants and shopping area. It's also quite safe as there is a very large police station next door. On the negative side, while reception is located on the ground floor, the bedrooms are located between floor 17 to 30. There are 4 elevators but only 2 are operating which meant long delays particularly morning and early evening. We were on floor 29 and our room had an old fashioned key rather than a card. There was only key made available which was inconvenient. The room even in November was very warm and also could do with refurbishment as its a little tired looking. We asked several times to have the air conditioning regulated but it was not done. Overall, just average. We expected better from a 4 star hotel.
there’s no disguising the fact that the decor of the hotel is in places a little worn but it’s central location meant that it was only a short walk to the public transport system and an easy walk into the heart of the city. Our room was a little small by modern standards but it was clean and were well appointed with complimentary toiletries, coffee machine and had stunning views across the bay and city of Naples. In the main the reception staff were helpful and attentive, or more accurately the female staff were. The male reception staff were more brusque and less convivial. The staff in the breakfast salon were, without exception, very friendly and efficient. The breakfasts were generally acceptable with choice of continental cheeses, meats, pastries, cereals and juices but the hot breakfast options were limited and less appealing. With the above caveats in place though we would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel as a base for exploring the city.
Well, where to start: part of the personal was extremely unfriendly, even unprofessional; breakfast was low quality and offered limited options; queuing for the coffee machine (where is the legendary Italian coffee?); poorly infrastructure in the bedroom that really need some reparations (toilet kept on; shower difficult to adjust; ...). Moderate quality of the bed. A good thing: the windows could be opened - with of course a limitation so you cannot jump out. The air didn't work and WiFi was very poor quality.
We found the staff very friendly, helpful and well presented. We were asked if we wanted to upgrade for a small cost of €15, we decided to and wow the 30th floor with huge windows overlooking the harbour, well worth the extra money. We used the laundry service, it all arrived back well presented and on time. They did have shortage coffee and milk pods for our coffee machine in room , we had to settle for decaf pods and we were supplied milk from the downstairs bar , that little issue was sorted fast. The bathroom was great , large and clean. Would I recommend this hotel ,definately and try the 30th floor .
We spent 4 nights at the NH Ambassador. The rooms were nice, clean and quiet. The beds were very comfortable. Good closet size with plenty of hangers. Good one-day laundry service. Breakfast was OK ... the panacotta and babàs were excellent but the hot options were limited (only scrambled eggs, bacon and a few vegetables) and the coffee was just so-so. Our son's bathroom was fine (apparently renovated recently), but ours was a bit old, the toilet didn't always flush properly and the lighting was poor. Service offered by the reception staff was a bit slow, but efficient. In comparison to other NH hotels, this one is a bit below standard, but we would probably come back because of its excellent location and stunning views over the bay.
Good things: fast internet Location Friendly reception help although they are not able to make a booking extension. you will be connected to phone to discuss any booking at the desk - very poor. Bad things Had a room at 18th floor and was very unhappy with the cleanness of various room items. Counted many black hairs in the bathroom, even one big long hair on the towels. Dirt in the bath tub. Carpet is showing lot's of dirt and spots. No sufficient 220 Volts connections close to the bed. Walls in the room are dirty. In general the room and bathroom are very outdated. No free drinking water in room. Will not choose NH again.
