Liked: Interesting architecture, nice warm fireplace in common area with two chairs nearby, tiffany lamps, about a 15-minute walk to downtown. Delicious breakfast pancake was served. Note: The loft rooms are up a long staircase, which was fine for us but could be hard if stairs present a problem. The bathroom of our room was also super tiny.

For our first trip to Napa and being switched by Orbitz at last minute...we were pleasantly surprised. The Cedar Gables is an older Inn that was built in 1892. Neighborhood is filled with Victorian-type houses dome converted to Inns or BnB’s. Parking on street w/a couple of spots on grounds. Has a lot of history and is well kept with large dining area, spacious kitchen, coffee & bar and TV viewing areas. Very Victorian-ish in ‘feel’ and atmosphere. We stayed in room named Avon that faced the front of Inn. Very small but clean room yet comfortable. Bed was a little soft for my taste. Breakfast was served daily between 8:30-9:30am. Guests were served fresh coffee and juice with a breakfast fruit and oatmeal appetizer then the breakfast entree all very tasty. It gave you a chance to meet and talk with other guests. Very nicely done by friendly staff. Only a couple of blocks from old downtown and Napa river. Some nice restaurants nearby as well. Great jumping off spot for your visit to any of 500 wineries in Napa Valley!! Enjoy!!

Very pleasant experience. Great Hospitality! The atmosphere makes the place very special.
