Check-in desk is shared with a very busy Sushi restaurant, so other than a bit of a wait to check in, the room was very clean and updated. Would gladly stay again.

The moment we entered the room it has bed bugs and we traveled 2 hours from the island and it is very bad experience. We wasted gas and driving and had to return to the Nanaimo to get an another stay .. very bad has big bugs all over the. Bed

We were very pleasantly surprised!! Fantastic renovations of the room. Clean, safe and beds were so comfortable. Delicious Japanese restaurant on site. Great option for Port Alberni!

Although in the centre of the south of Vancouver island, Port Alberni really is a port. Vancouver Island is big, beautiful and quite remote, especially given that it's so close to the city of Vancouver. The property is a fairly typical motel, clean and comfortable and designed for a car user. Which is just as well as while I did see some bus stops in town, i can't imagine how you would get there by public transport.
