staff were courteous, but the property itself is not in good shape, big stains on the carpet in the main reception, wall covering split and linoleum counter edge needs repair - for $150 or more a night - was not expecting to see a property so run down.

Amazing customer service. Arrived the night of a tsunami warning and despite being very busy and having no rooms the manager pulled strings to find a room even though expedias room was sold and booked already. The rooms are dated but clean and comfortable.

The good, staff were good, room was mostly clean, bed was comfortable. The bad, the couch in the room was very uncomfortable to sit on and the arms were dirty. Note: this area of Nanaimo has people hanging around, felt concerned for vehicle that was parked out of view, near dumpsters that had been gone through with material strewn about. The mill nearby, worked all night, i was able to tune it out though.

The front desk was amazing and very friendly. We had forgotten an item and housekeeping had them called immediatelyettin us know so we could retrieve it. They have a wonderful group of staff.

The hotel has a rodent problem and are fully aware of it. Mice running around in the room and mouse droppings YUCK absolutely disgusting

Everything was great but you need a little more ambience in your pool room. Maybe some music and some more lounge chairs 3 plastic chairs not comfortable and two were used to cordon off the not working hot tub. Also I did have a yapping dog across the hall for about an hour then I went to dinner. Overall a good stay
