Really nice service when I checked in. The room was nice. Could use a paint job but otherwise clean. When I checked out, I had to wait. The desk clerk was doing something but there was no bell to indicate that someone was in the lobby. Otherwise not a bad place to stay and not far from the river.

My room was clean and there were no signs of wear and tear--or any insects. A large flat screen TV is wall-mounted. Refrigerator and microwave are very handy for travelers who may have packed their own meals for dinner and/or breakfast. It is minutes away from I-95 and local restaurants. On the Sunday morning when I checked out, the TV in the main office was blaring a Christian Bible sermon. The management ought to consider whether some programs might be inappropriate for a business serving the general public. Overall, this is a good place to stay if you aren't demanding fancy accommodations.

My husband and I went to Block Island for the day and needed an inexpensive place to sleep for 1 night. We didn’t arrive until 10pm and left by 8am the next morning. For what we needed and the price we paid, the motel worked well. The front desk employee was nice (same guy at night and in the morning!). it is located 5 minutes from where the ferry drops you off. We went to Mohegan Sun in the morning and it was a short drive (approx. 15 minutes away). Room is clean, but king bed was not comfortable and only had 2 pillows. For an 8 hour stay, $116 was worth the price in this area. Make sure you request a non-smoking room. We didn’t and got a smoking one accidentally.

I wasn't completely satisfied with the hotel. One being it smelled of smoke and it was supposedly a non-smoking room and there were bed bugs! i was eaten alive.

Good stay, cheap simple room to sleep in. Close to everything.

My room had bedbugs. I woke up at 4am with about 15 bites on my shoulder, back, arms, legs, feet, and hands. [...]

I wasn't expecting a Five Star location.....we just needed a place to sleep after a night out a Foxwoods. The room was clean and spacious. Would have been nice if they offered a shuttle service to and from Foxwoods. No complaints though!

Worst hotel experience ever. During check in, I had to check into 3 rooms before I got into my correct room. First room had the wrong bed, second room the AC didn't work, 3rd room a cockroach in the light shield. The 4th room I gave up on, it was cleaner, but still cleanliness issues. Stains and burns on the floor, stains on the recliner, bathroom shower curtain was slimy, not enough towels, and no where to plug in any of my electronics. I went to get snacks from the machine, almost nothing left. The one snack I did get expired 3 months ago. The next morning I asked where I could get coffee from the maid, the maid threw her hands in the air. I went inside, it was 10:15am, the male Manager said the free breakfast ended at 10am for a reason and I couldn't get a coffee. I also let him know his maids didn't speak English. He said he prefers that his maids don't understand anything. Very rude and disrespectful. The walls were very thin and I could hear the other guests. TVs didn't work well, remotes need to be reprogrammed. My dog was staying with my friend, while I was at the hotel, due to the no pet policy. She came by to drop my dog off, so I could take my dog to the beach with me to end my birthday vacation. This was my last day and during checkout, I merely put my dog into the car, the same male Manager came out in front of all the other guests, embarrassed us and yelled at us stating that we broke the rules and he was going to charge me a $200 fee. He did not want to listen to what actually happened. The WHOLE experience was HORRIBLE. I asked for a refund a day early, he said it was not allowed. I was unfortunately forced to stay at this location one more day. I would advise all to never go to this location.

The price was the cheapest around the Mystic/Foxwoods area. Very close to restaurants, grocery stores, McDonalds, etc. Walls were thin, though, could hear a TV on at 6am!

I requested a non-smoking room, but was put in a smoking room. The room appeared clean, but there were roaches in several of the rooms (one guest woke everyone up at 1:30am to announce she had them in her room). The continental breakfast was stale bagels and hard donuts.

Rhode Island Beaches concert at casinos

restful

the hotel is in a very good location. i only used for sleeping, so i didn't care about the amenities offered, which were basically none. anyway, I recommend the hotel, and personally I would visit it again.

I was a bit leary going to this hotel, just based on the price per night! Boy, was I wrong, the rooms were spacious, clean, beds were comfy, the Staff ROCKED! couldn't have been more acommodating, I would stay here again and again and again... Refrigerator in the Room was nice size and cold! We did not take advantage of the breakfast, but Im sure that would have been great too. within minutes of Mohegan sun.. I definitly will return.

The manager keep tabs on everything that I did.

average

I went for the weekend to Mohegan Sun with a few friends. This inn was about 15/20 min away from the casino and was a quiet stay. However, the towels that were given to us all had yellow spots and were disgusting. Also, breakfast is served but everything is removed by checkout time.

Average, but consistant. A good no frills place to stay if your looking to be in the area and save some money. Have been staying here for years and will continue to. All guy weekends, fishing, motorcycles etc., fine for us but not exactly a family vacation type of place.

This was a cheap hotel, however it was still unacceptable. The room was dirty, a dead bug was found in the bed, the room reeked of smoke, and the key card did not work. Had good experiences outside of the hotel room in Mystic and Foxwoods.
