My family often drove passed by this place and we finally opted for a night stay. Early check-in and friendly staff were positives. The room has seen better days but the Tempurpedic mattresses gave us a good night sleep. Also saw that they offered a limousine to Foxwoods but we didn't use it. Did not go for the continental breakfast and the inn is near Mystic Pizza II which is a plus.

I am a gracious reviewer, but I had trouble finding something good to say. I'll cover the bases. Original room was disgusting because cleaning lady never came- free upgrade to a non-smoking jacuzzi room that included a dirty bathtub and cigarette burned chair. The bed was extremely squeaky and the cable was not working. Wifi was decent. Went to Foxwoods and called thirty minutes ahead to be Picked up by the "free shuttle" like we were told. Took an hour longer than the pick up time requested, picking up non hotel guests and shoving about 14 people in a ten people limo. Luxury breakfast??? Drunk guy making 10 waffles in a waffle maker and nothing else there to eat!!!! No one in the lobby all morning when I called and when I arrived to ask where the food was. Finally a guy put out English muffins. I cannot believe I paid so much for this horrible experience.

If you stay here listen to this review! The owner needs to hire new staff! When you want to ride the shuttle, be patient, because they won't be on time or where the stop is. When I asked about why the shuttle is late, the maid told me "oh yeah he is in the bathroom he is off the premises so it may take a while." The limo driver told us to be ready for a 12:30 pickup, but ended up showing up at 1:00a.m. The room was disgusting. There was mouse poop on top of the refrigerator, dirty and small bathroom and a really rude front desk worker. The fact that there are rude staff members and a dirty premises don't stay here.

This area is pricey over weekends so I picked this hotel because I am on a budget. It is close to Foxwoods and there is a free shuttle to the casino on weekends. The driver was very pleasant and courteous. The room I had was small and the carpet old and worn. Even though it was a non smoking room, you could smell cigarette smoke from the old carpets. Housekeeping isn't very thorough. There was hair on the shower walls from a previous visitor. The room did not invite one to linger-it is purely a place to sleep while visiting the area. If you are visiting during the week, there are plenty of nicer hotels at reasonable prices.

Never write reviews. Staff was nice. Shuttle was great. Rooms were gross. The first room had bugs, spider webs, mold underneath the bed and other places, and spray paint on the wall. "Upgraded" to another room which at first look, was much better. However, was also dirty, moldy, dirty sheets, dirty walls, and disgusting lamp. Didn't want to sleep there but refused to guarantee a refund because a manager wasn't available. Wrote and email and hoping to hear back from someone.

I loved it. Although the whirlpool I saw in the picture wasn't what was in my room, I still enjoyed it. The place looks great and it grants you a good amount of privacy. Felt litterally like I had my own apartment space for the weekend. My wife and I enjoyed the location also. It was easy to access all the different routes from here. Will definitely book it again next time I visit.

We stayed here years ago when it was brand new and loved it. It's obvious they are actively renovating and while it's perfectly fine now, it's going to be a real gem in a few months More importantly, the manager (Ed) and staff takes a real interest in getting to know you. Super friendly and they go above and beyond. Last night, we were so hungry and they let us have a late night snack in the kitchen. My husband forgot some clothes and they are even mailing it back for us! Overall a great experience, a unique and secluded location and will be a gem very soon.

We stayed here because it advertised the jacuzzi rooms and thought our kids could use something fun in a quick night stay on a 17 hour drive home. The rooms were dingy, cracked tiles, water spots all over the bathroom drop ceilings. The beds and floors did look okay and clean. The walls were another story, especially the inside of the door. The air conditioner unit was so loud, it was difficult to fall asleep. When I finally did fall asleep, I was continually woken up by people returning to the same building as us. You could hear yelling clearly, doors closing and opening. It was a horrible night's sleep. Take your money and go elsewhere. We paid $170+ with taxes and everything. It was not worth near that.

I want to say the people running the place were very nice and seem to be hard-working. However, the place needs a lot of work to be worth the price I paid for stay, $170 including taxes for 1 night for 2 people. The unit is very roomy, you could probably sleep 6-8 in their comfortably but it doesn't look like it has been updated or items replaced since it was built over 15 years ago. The free wi-fi was a joke. We couldn't connect while in our room, I had to go outside and sit on the little porch to get a weak signal. The unit had not been cleaned well, there spider webs along the mirror in the bathroom; the beds were made sloppily, blankets just looked like someone had laid on them and got up. I would not stay there again.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL ! I want a manager to call me I have been trying to reach someone in management for 4 days. I stayed there on July 28th and left at 1 in the morning to drive 2 hours to come home while I am 5 months pregnant because the rooms were filthy and the room had a foul smell. I have never in my life dealt with a hotel who never has a manager on duty to assist a customer. This is outrageous I was promised a refund by an employee the night I left and now I have been calling and calling trying to speak to someone but there is never a manager on duty ! If every hotel in the area was booked sold besides this one I would rather sleep in my car !
