Overall Review:
We had a mixed experience during our stay. The suite was nicely decorated and the air conditioning worked well, which made it comfortable during the warm days. The kitchen was small but functional and came equipped with basic utilities. Parking right outside the front door was very convenient, and the location was excellent — within walking distance to a supermarket and several dining options, and only a 10-minute drive to Michigan’s Adventure Park.
However, there were a few drawbacks that made the stay less ideal for our family. The sleeping arrangements were challenging: the suite included one king-size bed and a small couch (not a sofa bed), which made it difficult for our family of four. My younger child had to sleep on the living room couch, which was not intended for sleeping. Additionally, although our reservation clearly stated four guests (2 adults and 2 children), we were only provided with towels and linens for three people. We were not informed in advance that the suite wouldn’t be fully set up for all of us.
Also worth noting: there was no dishwasher or washing machine, which may be a consideration for longer stays. The shower is very tiny and there’s only one full bathroom.
Final Thoughts:
This property has potential for couples or smaller groups, especially given the location and decor. However, I would not recommend it for families unless the bedding and guest preparations are improved or if you’re bringing an additional mattress.
