The stay was overall pretty decent. The front desk worker was a little rude and looked overall annoyed that he had to be helping with guest issues. The elevator was temporarily having an issue where we couldn't get the door to shut so we could go up. When we asked the front desk clerk he took a deep breath and made a phone call to maintenance. When we apologized to him he just rolled his eyes and put an ear bud in like we were inconveniencing him. The overall cleanliness of the room upon arrival was decent. There was hairspray and hair stuck to the table where all the outlets were and there was old bar soap stuck in the shower. The window in the room whistled so loud with the wind making it almost next to impossible to sleep through the night.
Old but friendly help the Tub closed but cam to fix the air conditioning did not work so asked the maintained man to fix while fixing tub he tried but still did not work guess just old things but was s good friendly but near ferry to Milwaukee
This Hotel was good enough. The value was good for a weekend trip to the beach. Nice location.
Hotel is very clean and rooms are very nice, location is great...free cold snacks helps with kids :) ... I'd love to stay again.
This place was beautiful, very clean and hotel staff was very helpful on places to see and eat. There are two brewery's within walking distance. It was an all around great experience.
Had a wonderful time at this Holliday Inn. Great staff clean room and conveniently located. The art fair was going on and was pleasantly surprised at all the interesting items for sale. Would stay here again for sure.
ROOM WAS CLEAN AND VERY COMFORTABLE.. SERVICE WAS DECENT. ONE OF THE BEST HOTELS I STAY AT
We were in town for some outdoor activities at th Muskegon Winter Sports Complex. We had three family groups and the staff was able to give us adjoining rooms, very nice. The hotel is located very close to the Unruly Brewery which has some great brews and good pizza at Rebel Pizza.
It was great of a overnight business stay. there is a great bar and restaurant in the hotel!
The door jamb to the room looked like it was pried by the lock. They need to fix. But overall the hotel was very good
This Holiday Inn has a great location and a relatively nice view from most rooms. The bar and restaurant on the ground level is very convenient and there are plenty of other establishments around to walk to. The downside is that the air conditioning is very noisy and the sound proofing between rooms very poor. So you can pretty much hear every word of the conversations in the next room.
Great location, hotel mostly renovated except bathroom in the room dated with water stains and some mold. Ate at the patio restaurant waited for 10 minutes before a waitress even acknowledged me. I'm not overly picky so none of this really bothered me other than waiting so long for a beer.
Only about 5 minutes from the Lake Express Ferry dock, so a good choice if you're going to Milwaukee. Other motels aren't that much farther away, but this one can probably save you a few minutes. Room was comfortable, good size. Not much happening downtown or most places in Muskegon, from what we could see, but this hotel was within walking distance of a nice lakefront park. Not a tremendous value, but worth a stay if you want a pool.
Staff was friendly, room was cozy and decent. Rented a suite and the jacuzzi was dirty so didn't use that but everything else seemed pretty clean. Restaurant was Super great and reasonably priced.
Simple clean and all you need in a hotel. Your not getting the Manhaten but you also don't pay for it.
Good proximity to a nice walk along the water and a free movie at the WWII boat museum. Disappointed that the sprinkler system watered and flooded the sidewalk.
We had two rooms - our 2 college age sons in one room - my husband and I in the other. Rooms were very clean, comfortable, and included wifi. Close to beautiful beaches and lots of fun things to do. Highly recommend staying here. Also, the pool was very nice - we all enjoyed that as well.
Pros: good location downtown with easy access to highway. Pool open late. Cons: no complimentary breakfast ($12/person buffet). WIFI didn't work, bathroom vent didn't work, bathroom mirror had black spots all over. No ice machine on two different floors. Parking garage had broken glass on the ground.
Perfect for your stay while we toured the college and the culinary school next door.
It is close to Pioneer Park where my wife and I like to visit - we aren't campers so this hotel is nice for us. It has a great breakfast, full service, nice staff. They work hard.
