The rooms were great. It was clean, spacious, great price and very comfortable. Ive been in Europe for 3 years and this is my favorite hotel by far! Great location not far from anything in the city or Alianz Stadium.

What a welcome sight! After traveling by car all day to reach our reserved hotel. As a Novotel, we know it will be clean, comfortable and safe. And a suite! It was a nice large room (with a divider - just in case!) Nice desk area for doing a bit on the computer and also a good coffee bar (instant coffee and tea and hot water pot) along with a refrigerator. Bed was very comfortable, the room was reasonably quiet. The breakfast seemed a bit pricey so we skipped that. They did offer free coffee til 11:00 am with some small cakes. This was about a 150 yard/meter walk to the tram (we didn't need to use it, but it would be convenient to getting downtown.) Left the next day well rested and content. The underground parking was a plus (12 euro for 24 hours)

If you travel to Munich for a business trip, please do not choose this hotel! The WIFI does not function at all, beds are not very comfortable and you even do not have any privacy as you have a window view of another hotel rooms. We are not obsessed with the internet, but we needed The WIFI to arrange several things for business session we had the next day, but it was impossible so we went to nearby restaurant. Poor! The reception staff was nice - the only positive thing about this hotel.

The Suite Novotel in Munich is located rather conveniently from the city center, due to easy tram access. However, since it is in a rather new developed residential/office mix use area, there are not too many restaurants around, but the opposite Ibis has one, for example. The overall experience with the hotel was ok, the staff was friendly and efficient and the breakfast not too big, but sufficient. The small "Shop", where you can buy something to drink, but also food for the microwave in the room is a good idea. The room however, is the reason for the rating I gave. There were actually empty wine-gum packs on the nighttable, the nighttable, phone and shelves were very dusty and the bathroom mirror was also not clean. In addition, the desk has a leather-ish cover, which was very sticky and hence, not giving a clean impression, although it just could be the age. Hence, in my opinion the concept of the room layout and the facilities were good, but cleanliness needs to be significantly improved and also some furniture probably exchanged.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights while in Munich and we loved the hotel. Although it is far from any transportation station, and far from the city-centre, we enjoyed the hotel itself. The room was exceptionally spacious and was well-equipped with everything we needed. Upon our arrival, our beds had gummy fruits on the pillow (which was a nice surprise). Unfortunately breakfast was not included in our hotel price, and was a hefty 15 euros every morning. The selection was not overly appetizing and not worth 15 euros, but was still bearable. Overall I loved the layout and comfort of this hotel, and would stay in a novotel hotel again (closer to the city centre next time).

Room is ok, but I've paid EUR 15,00 for a breakfast and it was really poor. I was already in different Novotel Hotels in Munich and this is the worst one. The Ibis hotel in front of this is feel better and cheaper.

The hotel is situated in a nice area easy to reach by car and also easy to go downtown with a tram and an U-bahn. The stop of the tram is very close to the hotel but have some change with you if you want to get a ticket on the tram. The room is the type you find in Novotel-suites with all the comforts described in the website of the hotel. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was nice, they served even little doughnuts although the dining area looked small for a hotel of this size. It is certainly one of the best hotels for a family with excellent Wi-Fi connection. If you want to find something bad than certainly is the entrance of the parking which is rather narrow.

I've stayed at this hotel twice, and I would recommend it. The rooms are very spacious, modern and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful - on one occasion I had to check out early, and my pre-paid days were refunded, no problem. Breakfast is continental and is reasonably good.

This hotel is well placed for the local technology park, with good links to the centre of Munich. Comfortable hotel and a good sized room with sofa and desk. There is a screen you can use to divide the bed area from the sitting area.

I normally don't rate hotels till I have left, but this was one was special from that perspective. We are still staying at the hotel and from our view point, this has been the poorest hotel we have stayed in Germany and Austria (so far). First the plus points- reasonably big room, decent connections to the main points in Munich (yes, it takes 15-20 mins more, but the tram and then the 'U' are fairly easy and cheap and the places to see in Munich are not too spread out). Second, Astrid, at the reception. Very cheery, very helpful and proactive, if I ran a hotel, I would hire her immediately (the reason this hotel didn't get one star is because of her!). Now the downsides- the bed. Normally, I travel a lot and don't get too worked up about beds, but this one was particularly bad. We have 3 beds in the room, the kids sleep in a rollaway and a sofa type bed and usually those are bad, but in this case, the main bed is a creaking monster and not particularly comfortable. Second- the other non-Astrid staff, extremely unhelpful and downright hostile. A couple of examples- we asked for a cab one morning, Astrid booked it for us the evening before and unfortunately (for us) wasn't there in the morning, the gentleman who was (Victor?) had no idea whether a cab was booked and instead of checking was more insistent on telling us that we were 10 mins too late (now, I have travelled a fair bit in this world, and usually if one books a car through a hotel, including recently in Berlin, one gets a call when the said car reaches the hotel, but apparently at this hotel, one will not get any such call and if one is a few mins late, one will get a lecture, luckily for this gentleman, we really wanted to catch this cab, which was luckily waiting outside, otherwise, he would have heard from me). Second example, we ask another gentleman manning the reception, if he has any advise on how to get to the Deutsches Museum - Transport exhibit (different from the main museum), his flat response? I don't know where that is. Bit flummoxed with it, as usually in the service industry, one tries to be helpful, but I suppose one should be happy that one didn't get berated. All in all, find another place. Germany is full of nice hotels and better you didn't waste your time at this one (we don't have a choice having paid for 5/6 nights). Cheers
