The property was close to everything, clean and friendly staff. Great prices, parking garage is 1 block and safe. The bed was comfortable. Its an older building but its munich. They're all older buildings. Highly recommended, will be back.

My go-to place for central Munich

No-frills, but a great location, and not too expensive. Although the place is a bit shabby, even a little smelly, the staff is so friendly and interesting -- obviously all young immigrants who are eager to please. We had a great time staying there.

Avoid at all costs

I wouldn't recommend this place at all, I'm surprised hotels.com actually has it on their website to book. The room was very dirty, the electrics were unsafe and everything seemed low quality. When I was sleeping a bug actually fell onto my face and woke me up, when I turned on the light I found it was a cockroach! Needless to say I didn't sleep after that and was worried about the cleanliness of the place. The shower curtain rail in the bathroom was actually held up in place with a bit of earthing wire and a long screw hanging from the ceiling. Thankfully it was a short stay otherwise I would have left and found somewhere else. I can confidently say it was the worst hotel either me or my partner have ever stayed in.

Definitely wouldn’t put a step back in that hotel, and obviously wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The only pro to this hotel is the location, good access to subway and old town. Besides that: room had lots of spiderwebs in the corners, windows didn’t seal properly (we got a cold because of that), door is loose and every time someone walks by or there’s an air current it appears that someone was knocking on the door, worst part is the shower: 60X60 cm square area with extremely big curtains that don’t stop all the water to end up on the bathroom floor and don’t allow you to shower properly without sticking to your body, plus ventilation is non existent in the bathroom so all of the humidity ends up in your room. Staff is ok, friendly and helpful. My recommendation skip this one and try somewhere else.

Im a budget traveler and this is the first hotel that didnt charge me for late check-in, we were 15mins late. Because we all know how Europe can be. AND they upgraded us to a bigger room !!!! Staff were very pleasant. And they have an elevator, because half the time of budget hotels, you will need to use the stairs with your luggages.
