Checked in and they took me to my room. Was supposed to be nonsmoking but clearly it wasn’t or at least at one point it had been smoking. I had to ask them to switch my room. They took me to another floor and let me choose between 2 rooms. Again obviously at some point every room had allowed smoking or been smoked in but I chose the one that smelled the cleanest. Had dinner and afterward decided to shower for early bed time due to early intl flight. Shower drain didn’t drain at all and the water leaked out of the closed shower door into the bathroom where it didn’t drain out of the other drain either, out into the bedroom, and out the door down the hall. I didn’t know until I got out because I wear corrective lenses and didn’t have them on during the shower. Shocked, I called the front desk. They sent someone from housekeeping who called the hotel manager and another housekeeper. As the two housekeepers started cleaning, I apologized to the manager and explained what happened but he insisted on India the guest is treated like the divine and this was his fault as the host. I asked if they could just move me into another room but he ignored me. It turned into commentary on how lucky I am to travel because it’s expensive and Indians can’t travel because they’re very poor, how hard the housekeepers work, etc. When I again tried to explain the drain not working, he said it is a narrow drain - again as if it is my fault their drain didn’t work. It was very rude and surprising.
it was nice stay good hotel and staff is very helpful
I had booked the hotel from 9th January to 12 January. The hotel checkout time is 12 noon. So it means I can stay 12th night but the management made me checkout on 12 th January before 12 noon and says if u live till evening it’s going to be one day more. Funny part is I reached hotel 3.30 in the morning 9th January and I have to book room for 8 th January cos my booking was from 9 th January. So it means they took one day fare without I stay their.
My experience is good the rooms are small but comfortable but the bathrooms are to small
Pre-arranged pickup at the airport disaster. Hotel has indicated that driver would be there with a placard of guest's name. Driver had the wrong guest's name (human error) but repeated calls to the hotel indicated that car would be there momentarily. In the end, the car was more than an hour late (this is around 12:30 am after a day long flights from USA to India). When I mentioned this at the hotel, the night personnel said that I had made no arrangements for pickup - fortunately I had saved the e-mail exchange - no apology even then. Since I was to be at the hotel for about 10 hours in all, I stayed there for less than 8 hours due to the botched airport pickup. At breakfast - utter chaos due to untrained staff. And a few other minor hiccups. I do not recommend this hotel - at least for non-Indian customers.
My flight arrived in India 3 hours late, which meant my stay was only from 4am to 9:30am, but there was staff there, awake, and very helpful when I arrived. They took good care and were quick and efficient. -Room is nice and newer -Food for breakfast was fine -Taxi shuttle to airport was very good. -Front desk staff very helpful and speak good English. Only down sides: -the Wifi requires a local phone to activate and is not free...pay by the hour and fairly slow. -Since my flight was late, they were not at the airport to pick me up as planned, and I had to spend more money for the taxi. Whatever site they use to check flight status is not good. This was a very clear delay with Delta...we had to change planes and the flight was 10 hours long....plenty of time to see the delay. -The shower drain was also plugged and created a bathtub quickly. -The air conditioning does a nice job of cooling the room, but mine blew straight down onto my face while sleeping in bed all night. Overall, I will plan to use this hotel again for my next trip. Location to the domestic terminal is GREAT! Never have to worry about traffic making you late to the airport with only 1 block to drive.
The room price at close to 5000 INR per night was pretty reasonable compared to other hotels in the vicinity. I called them on reaching Mumbai international and they were promptly on time to pick me up. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was great . Puri Baji, sandwich, fruits, idly sambhar etc. Very friendly and helpful people. Its also pretty close to the domestic airport which was perfect for me. Just 2 minutes from the airport. I highly recommend them and will definitely stay there during my next visit to Bombay.
[...]. When we finally got a room, there were bugs in the sink, the bed cover was stained, and there was no TP.The staff was friendly though and the breakfast good.
I just needed a place to stay after flying from NY before I fly to my final destination. Hotel was basic. Staff was helpful. Room was quiet. Minutes from the domestic airport which was great because it took longer than I thought to check in for my flight. This place filled my needs exactly.
The room was very small. The AC did not work and the bathroom flooded 2" deep when I used the shower. Only redeeming factor is proximity to Domestic airport and free shuttle service to same.
