"Renaissance Mumbai" is one of the most favorite hotel I stayed during my stay in Mumbai. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and general manager. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant was very pleasant (appreciate this!) and the 36th floor lounge manager (Ajay Ghai) and chefs (Abhishek, Swapnil, Nandan and Ryan) deserves a special thanks. We had so many great mornings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. I still remember the wonderful personalized breakfast cooked by Abhishek and Swapnil. The mocktails prepared with so muchof love by Nandan always gave us fresh start of the morning. And not to forget the warn welcome given to us by manager Ajay Ghai. Overall our every visit to 36th floor was wonderful and always memorable. The atmosphere of the hotel is so special that it really felt like home to me. Cleanliness, ambience, lake view room and many more was so unique. All respect for your wonderful staff who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality! Overall experience was awesome. I'll recommend this hotel to every couple and families:).

Stayed in hotel during one of my business trip in the month of February 2018. Rooms are of decent size and property is well maintained. It is close to being a resort in a city like Mumbai. Breakfast spread is ok, but service can be improved.

Renaissance Powai is a great hotel with fantastic location, huge space and great service. Even though we live across the lake in Hiranandani, it is a great place to take a break and escape from ones routine. Worth a stay for sure!!

Wasn’t bad but wasn’t good either. Breakfast buffet service was slow and they didn’t actually have everything out and hot until about an hour into the published breakfast hours. Rooms in the “new” tower were dated and not attractive. I don’t know if they actually have any rooms that look like the website, but out of 4 platinum guests I traveled with, none of us had a room that even came close to the beautiful modern rooms that were advertised on the website. The hotel was also very loud with construction going on in the lounge (while it was open which was bizarre) and outside if you happened to overlook the pool or the back view over the sewer pipes, which was both sides. Overall I’d say this hotel is about the same as a standard US city Marriott that hasn’t been renovated in 10+ years. Was clean and functional but definitely not luxurious. The JW Sahar was a class above for sure. I would pick the JW over the renaissance hands-down, no question.

I have visited this hotel 5 to 6 month ago and stuck by the beauty and view from the hotel, also the ambiance or the hotel is very charming. I felt one problem with service and proper human resource in the hotel, my advise will be to recruit more people, rest all fine

Visiting from Toronto, Stayed at the hotel twice in March. One of the best Mariott properties anywhere, an oasis in the busy megapolis of Mumbai! The management has done a fantastic job training, Each and every staff member goes out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Especially all the folks at the business lounge- Chef Abhishek, Chef Swapnil, Ryan, Rufina, Narsingh.. Amazing service orientation. One of the few places where the old mantra of greeting guests is still followed, even by The general manager Who was spotted on the floor several times. Excellent show guys!

Staff are courteous. Food is good and ambience as well. The rooms are good and the lake is pleasant. Surprised about one thing -when I close up the hotel to confirm my booking they did not have it and had to call booking.com The staff of The Chinese restaurant and the coffee shop that I visited very good and interested in our comfort

As Member of Club-Marriott (no. 10112188), I visit restaurants in Renaissance Powai frequently, about twice a week. One of our favorite is Nawab Saheb, which is a unique blend of taste, nutrition, & authenticity of Indian cuisine. It has one of the best service; where, the chefs & service staff are equally welcoming & hospitable. In particular, I specifically noted the friendly approach of Master Chef Mohd. Yunus Khan & prompt service of Mr. Akshay.

I was very unwell during the last day of my stay. After informing the management I was immediately given access to the excellent executive lounge, and the staff there went as far as preparing an off the menu soup for me. The hotel has a remarkably customer centric policy.

Stayed at this property for two days. That was my second visit. Lovely place with an affordable tariff. Food was great. The staff was extremely courteous and the warmth could be felt. I specially want to thank Rachit and Vinay for making my stay comfortable and special. Looking forward to visiting again.
