The Space:

Redesdale is a characterful Grade II-listed maisonette on Moreton-in-Marsh High Street, sleeping up to 7 guests across 4 bedrooms, with 1 full bathroom + 1 WC. Ideal for families and friends getting together. It’s warm, welcoming and full of original features — exposed beams, winding staircases and cosy corners — with shops, tea rooms and pubs right outside the door.



Step inside and the kitchen/dining space is ideal for morning coffee and planning the day. After exploring the Cotswolds, retreat to the cosy snug — a peaceful spot to curl up with a book or unwind in the evening.

Adjoining room : double pull-out bed + single pull-out bed

Please note: this adjoining room involves older, steep steps down towards the living room.

On Tuesdays, the town comes alive with the famous Moreton-in-Marsh Market — one of the largest street markets in the Cotswolds, packed with local produce, crafts and plenty of character. You’ll also find a great mix of places to eat, from classic country pubs serving locally sourced food to relaxed cafés and restaurants.

Moreton-in-Marsh railway station is around a 5-minute walk away, with direct trains to Oxford, London Paddington and Worcester — ideal for car-free Cotswolds breaks or easy day trips.

By Train

It's one of the best-connected stations in the Cotswolds, making this an ideal base for car-free holidays or combining your Cotswolds stay with a London trip.



By Bus

Regular bus services run from Moreton-in-Marsh to popular Cotswolds destinations:

Pulhams Coaches Route 801 connects to Bourton-on-the-Water, Chipping Norton, and Cheltenham (Monday-Saturday)

Pulhams Coaches Route 606 runs to Broadway, Winchcombe, and Cheltenham

Stagecoach Routes 1 and 2 serve Blockley, Broadway, and Evesham (Monday-Saturday)

Parking

Free on-street parking is available directly outside on Moreton-in-Marsh High Street. Please note there is no designated parking space for the property – it's first-come, first-served public parking.

On Tuesdays, the famous Moreton-in-Marsh market takes over the High Street, and parking restrictions apply during the day (usually until early afternoon). You may need to park in one of the nearby public car parks during market hours.



Access

Please be aware that Redesdale has steep stairs both at the entrance and within the property. All staircases have handrails fitted for safety. This maisonette may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.



Character Property

As a Grade II-listed building, Redesdale has all the charm of a historic Cotswolds home – including uneven floors, low beams in places, and quirks that come with centuries of history. We think that's part of the magic, but it's worth knowing before you book.
