Cotswold break
Had a great time, The Forge was very comfortable and homely. Location in upper oddington is good.
Village is very quiet but so close to more villages and towns.

Beautiful cottage in beautiful location. Very tastefully decorated in keeping with a cottage. Loved the rabbit picture above the wood burner & I’m trying to source a copy!! Short distance from all other places we wanted to visit. My only criticism is that the garden could have done with a bit of TLC, but apart from that it was lovely.

Short relaxing break
We really enjoyed the property and the location. Had everything we needed and only a short drive away to Stow on the Wold. Although the October dates we stayed, all pubs where closed given a big yearly event dating back to the 1400s taking place. A great central point to the Cotswolds. We had problems with the shower mixer (could do with replacing) but someone from StayCotswold came out to tweak it. The boiler is in a cupboard in the main bedroom and can be noisy when the heating comes on in the mornings in the autumn and winter, but not a major issue for us. Ubers are really well priced in the area if you dont want to drive. Would stay again.

Delighful, comfortable cottage in the heart of North Cotswolds.
This cottage is ideal for a stay in the Cotwolds, being close to many beautiful villages, towns and places of interest. It's also walking distance to the local pubs. We had lunch at the Horse and Groom in Upper Oddington and it was excellent.
Though quite small, this charming cottage was perfect for our stay - in a quiet location, beautifully decorated and well equiped. The owners have made sure that everything you need is provided for, including some coffee, milk, washing up liquid, cloths, etc. - small points but much appreciated.
We loved it and really recommend it.

An amazing stay in Cotswolds
We had a great time in the Forge in upper oddington ! It is an amazing location, and the Forge is just beautiful little cottage with lots of character! Beds are so comfortable and the whole time we felt so relaxed! There was few things which do need an improvement like the taps in the shower were leaking the whole time and the sink tap in the kitchen too. I scored 4 for cleanliness due to few cobwebs on the walls, but it was very clean. For the amount of money I would provide logs for the log burner , as when you come in colder months and the weather is not great you want to relax by the log burner, but we had to go to tesco and get few more bags extra. Other then that our stay was fantastic and we are hoping to return soon !

Lovely cottage and great service
The Forge has been an absolutely lovely cottage to stay in during our past summer get-away. It is a roomy two-bath, two-bedroom, and cozy home. From both the exterior as well as the interior the typical Cotswold-look is clearly visible. The home has been equipped with the smallest of details; from family boardgames to an abundance of kitchen appliances and utensils, everything is there for your use. I'd say the only downside of this lovely cottage is the fact that it is só cozy, you might just want to stay in all day and not get to see as much of the lovely countryside surrounding it.
Moreover, the customer service of StayCotswold has been phenomenal. After we had checked out to leave for the airport, we discovered that we'd left a jacket behind in the home and there was no way for us to turn back around and make it to our flight in time. We contacted StayCotswold about this issue and they were more than willing to help us out; they've even took the time and efforts to send out a package all the way to the Netherlands (our homecountry) containing the jacket on their own costs. Amazing service!!
