The staff were friendly and the room clean and tidy. The one main thing for this time of year was weather. I had purchased a few days for my parents to stay here and there was alot of snow and rain during their stay. Unfortunately the snow was not removed out front to get to the taxi. No path, and my parents being in their late 70’s had to be very careful and their feet got wet because of the snow and slush going over their boots. I was not impressed hearing that they couldn’t take the time to shovel in front of their hotel.

They tried to make us stay in the “condo part of the hotel” rather than the hotel part which may not have been any better. The hallways felt unsafe and seedy with permanent low income residents. Our thermostat was totally broken off the wall. The room was cold. The carpet was duct taped to the floor near the elevator and all carpet was dirty looking. The hotel lobby and hallways didn’t smell clean. When we complained and requested a refund, they would only refund one night, not two. She became aggressive about it and we left.

The hotel is well kept. Lobby, elevator, hallways, etc. are a little older. The room was large and the bathroom was updated. The bed was comfy but sheets/ blankets were less than ideal. Housekeeping came around 9am which was frustrating when we had a later start to our day. However staff was always friendly.

The staff was courteous. The mattress was very good but too high. The restaurant ran out of food…so not too impressed. No coffee available in restaurant. There were no towels or rack to clean dishes.
