Let me start by saying I usually don’t give reviews at all but I had to say something on April 12th, 2019. I stayed here cause I was attending a reunion in Wetumpka, Al everything was sold out so this was my only choice. So let me begin I arrived late so had to email my card info and id to the hotel red flag !!! As I arrived I noticed a large group of men gathered in the hotel parking lot drinking and very loud the parking lot was full. I literally had nowhere to park so I was told by hotel staff to park parallel next to the curb. So as I’m gathering my belongings from my car the group of men started whistling at me I proceeded to enter the building. As I got the room I noticed I forgot my charger in the car so I had to go back outside to my vehicle . So as I’m about to enter the building again one of the men approached me and I quote “ Where you’re man at” where you from? I was very uncomfortable at this point I told him a lie and proceeded into the building... I stayed in the remaining of the night... Fast forward to my departure time and arrive back home. I receive an email saying I paid the general Auto Insurance remind you I don’t have the general for auto insurance. So I call my bank and spoke with them and the representative tells me the charge came from Alabama Let’s Go Back Remember i emailed my card info someone from this hotel used my card to pay their car insurance I reported it as fraud closed my account and writing this review to let you guys know STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM Indecent establishment
First: * Rewards Points were used for my stay. Thanks, Choice! You know how first impressions can impact an entire experience? Thankfully, my stay far exceeded my initial observation. Please check photos for explanation. After driving 500+ miles, I wanted nothing more than a clean, quiet place to decompress for the evening. When the desk clerk politely welcomed me, I questioned the position of the U on the wall. He put it back in place, explaining that it needed more glue. Registration was quickly efficient. Ya think? But, except for minor things (had to go upstairs onto the smoking floor for ice,, patrons had to wait while frozen sausage patties and eggs were microwaved, and waffle batter was mixed in the sink next to the coffee & juice machines), this hotel was satisfactory. I would return.
That isn't a meth lab. My company uses Quality Inn for travel and I have been placed in some of the crappiest, loudest, meth lab looking hotels. Especially around the Montgomery Alabama area. Greenville, Troy, buy I must say this one is a nice comfortable, quiet hotel. Lots of choices to eat, no one screaming in the halls, easy interstate access. While I would still avoid Quality Inn's if I could, this is one of the nice ones.
The front desk guy tonight charge me an extra .98 cents more than what my online reservation said. The shower curtain needs to be clean. You can tell this hotel don't clean their top cover/ comforter. They only had one tissue roll and it was low.
Large spacious rooms with separate sitting area, all updated and modern furniture. Very clean, and the parking lot is well-lit. It is adjacent to a few fast food places and convenience stores all within walking distance.
I pre-paid my booking to have the hotel give my reservation to another customer on a different date. Please consider Patel the owner a person not to be trusted considering it shows his name as the person that checked the mystery person in under my altered reservation. After days of no response I finally was able to have Choice Hotels refund my money, I will never use Choice Hotels again!
This Quality Inn is in an odd location, a place where some are wishing they could turn back the clock and get some zoning laws in place. The immediate area contains several chain hotels, next to this one is an auto repair shop, the Motel 6 across the way has some heavy industry behind it with what sounded like aluminum recycling going on much of the night, and there's an odd assortment of other businesses and even some private homes in the mix nearby. The hotel itself manages to get the job done--but not smoothy. The corridor and breakfast area are both rather small, and so when room cleaning is going on, you might despair of getting a luggage cart to your room; when the residents descend in great numbers, you might not find a place to sit or you might wait a time for food to be re-stocked. The rooms are just a little tight, the bath/toilet are closed and the sink is open to the rest of the room so you can't shave without turning on lights and potentially disturbing the still-sleeping wife. They do have a nice touch in a magnetic door-stop that makes it easier to get the luggage into the room. Plumbing was a little noisy. The cost is low, even though the staff seems harried the place is clean and competently run, the location is convenient to downtown Montgomery, but expect no frills.
Stopped in to stay for the night on our way to Panama City they were the only place on the exit that had any vacancy so I figured why not I was only going to be there for 6 hours the room was clean we were on the second floor which stunk of cigarette smoke but our room did not the bed was comfortable it was clean and the water was very hot. We woke up early and checked out the free breakfast was not edible so we trashed it and went on our way for 87 dollars it was a bit steep should have been more In the 60 range to get a 5 Star review for what you get there my recommendation stay at the motel 6 and save some money if your just looking for a place to lay your head
Reserved 3 rooms for family... 2 rooms were nice and updated...1 was still needs remodeled. great value and appreciate the desk personnel! they were funny and helpful! Easy access to interstate. very nice breakfast! Husband loved the fridge in the room.
This was our second stay, the first being about a year ago, When we were there last time, the hotel was undergoing renovations, and all of that seems to be finished now. The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is quiet, and we felt safe staying there. All of these factors led to our decision to stay here again this year. If you're looking for a luxury hotel, this isn't it, but if you're looking for a clean, safe place to lay your head for a night or two, this is a great spot, at a great price. The staff is very friendly, as well. There is a continental breakfast, with eggs, sausage, biscuit and gravy, waffles, etc. We would defnitely stay here again.
