Far and away a terrible experience due to the owner. From South Florida and ran from Hurricane Irma. Made a reservation as we had our dogs with us. Handicapped but happy to get a std room for a few nights, then moved to second floor. In room discovered TV was disabled, called for help and owner showed up. It was a set up. I was stretched out on bed and owner came up and immediately railed at my wife about dog hair found on the bed and couch in our previous room, 104. I stood up and he immediately said he felt threatened and called police. If you allow dogs, do you not understand they may leave hair? Police officer arrived and personally found us another room at a different hotel. I thank him but Quality Inn needs to get rid of this loser of an owner. Running from a hurricane we encountered a s**t storm.
Honestly for $62 bucks, hard to beat. The place was clean, room was large with a small sofa in a king bed room. We like having the sink area outside of the restroom/shower too. Elevator for second floor access also a plus for a small two level hotel. Couple of fast food places to grab eats too. My only issue was that at night it is really dark after you get off I-65 and finding the entrance was nuts. They need a sign at the street and an arrow pointing the way, lit up at night! But, overall, hard to beat for the price. Breakfast was the usual fare, but also with some hot items to make either gravy biscuits or egg and sausage biscuits.
Last year I was at quality inn in Montgomery . And as wrote about my disappointment with my visit last year. I'm happy to report that I visited the property last week and the place has really done a turn around in the last year. There's coffee in the lobby. Front desk staff has great customer service skills, and the tub has hot water unlike last year's review. So happy to see the turn around from last year
The rooms are big and clean, friendly workers. Would refer this place to a friend. The breakfast could be better but a really nice place and good location. Stop the smoking rooms tho, if you were on second floor thats all you smell
I stayed here on two separate occasions and both times were nice. Good location, I felt safe, and the room was clean and comfortable. The first time was in a regular room. The second time we were put in a handicap room. I will have to say that the shower would probably be convenient for someone to roll in and out of in a wheelchair- however it can be very slippery and dangerous going out of this shower if you're standing and walking like I was- even with a towel on the floor, I almost slipped and fell as did my friend. So I would recommend some alterations be done to these shower stalls to prevent accidents- especially if a handicap person were to be booked into this room. Will stay again- as long as I was booked into a regular room, not another handicap room.
We had some extraordinary needs with our wheelchair bound family member. Every little thing we mentioned of concern, Brandon (the front desk clerk) immediately sought to address our need and provide excellent service. What a pleasure staying at a hotel that puts customer needs and satisfaction as a priority!!!! Very clean, nice room. Great price for a great stay! Highly recommended!!!
The rooms were very clean and spacious. The breakfast has different variety of things and also and was very delicious. The front desk clerk was very nice and considerate and gave great eating referrals in the area
We checked in late, the hotel was quiet and the room comfortable and well equipped, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast standard Quality inn fare of eggs, sausage, fruit, cereal, toast, etc.. It could use some TLC, but for one night, we had no complaints. All in all it met our needs and we felt comfortable and safe there and would probably be better classified as "good" between average and very good in ratings.
Spent one night there. Our room was a king bed with a sofa and chair. It did need a good painting inside. There isn't much to eat around there. The bed was fine. Our big problem was the guy next door. Had tv on so loud we had a hard time sleeping. Kept his tv on all night. It was quieter when the compressor on the heat or air was working. Breakfast was average.
The hotel needs renovation badly. The baseboards were missing and my room didn't have a pleasant, clean smell. Only after unpacking did I find cigarette ashes in a plastic cup on a table. I got down to the breakfast area a bit after 6:30 (which is when breakfast begins) and clearly it wasn't set up. I stood at the reception desk for several minutes listening to the phone ring and ring. I decided to go out and eat breakfast. When I stopped back by to check out, the clerk said her nighttime worker simply left and didn't notify her. While I can't reasonably blame management for this, it was still a crappy thing to happen.
