We stayed a couple of nights and found this location to be fairly comfortable. We were surprised at check in when the clerk charged our card $50 additional for a damage deposit! Who does that? It was charged on a Wednesday and it’s now Tuesday and the $50 has not been returned to our account. There was no mention of this on the website. The TV was another frustration. Remote would turn the tv on and adjust the volume. Nothing else. The front desk lady gave us instructions to reset the remote but it didn’t work. Then a maintenance guy was sent. He brought us another remote. He was surly but effective. Still the guide didn’t work so I eventually downloaded the TV Guide app and was able to figure out what was on the different channels. Comfy bed and nice shower. Would not stay again due to the surprise deposit.
This place was disgusting. And they should be shut down and or monitored for drug and prostitution. The room was gross and smelled like weed and cigarettes. We checked in and then left. There was NO way we were going to stay there. My kids were not going to sleep in that nasty place. STAY AWAY. saw at least 3 drug deals happen. Horrid.
I had a great experience on my stay with my family the first week of March. While on my stay, it was safe, quiet and the room was a nice size for a reasonable price. I have back issues and the bed was so soft and the room was neat.
This is literally the nastiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in in my 30 years of life. The floors felt greasy and it smelled bad and I honestly felt unsafe enough to the point of where we checked out the same night that we checked in so that we could find another place to stay. I wish I could give it a lower rating than terrible. The front desk lady was nice enough to give us our money back atleast.
My friend & I stayed at the hotel for three nights & the room was not cleaned, sheets were not changed nor was the floor vacuum. Their policy is not to change the first night but the second night the sheets should have been changed & the room cleaned. We had to ask for towels. The staff was friendly however, the breakfast was left over danishes, cold coffee and just terrible. I would stay in my car before staying at this place again. We arrived around 11:10 & most hotels were filled due to a baseball tournament. The second floor was a smoking floor and the smoke can be smelled on the three & first floor. A guest on the 2nd floor had a party on Saturday night under our room & we had to ask the staff to ask the guest to turn the music down from a boombox or sound system they had brought in. The guest turned the music down for ten minutes and turned it back up. We notified the staff three times before the music was turned off at midnight.
The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Quite room, very good outside lighting and beds were great. We had left our home for hurricane and needed a place that would except pets .Great place to stay for the value.
Firstly the welcome at the front desk was great, the lady that checked us in was very friendly. We paid for a suite, however this was just a small extension to a regular motel room with a sofa and coffe table. The pool was adequate, however it had clearly not been netted that morning. The fitness suite was out of order and the hotel had a smell reminiscent of my travels in India...a mixture of disinfectant and incense. The lift smelt of weed and the corridors and dining room had old carpets, boxes and microwaves piled up. Wifi came in and out throughout the stay also. Finally at 7.30am the coffee was stone cold and the breakfast choice limited to some ropey looking Danish. On the whole disappointing really.
My family stayed one night at Home Inn & Suites while visiting family. If I hadn’t prepaid online for the room we never would have stayed. Several things where problematic; I walked in the front door to check in, a roach ran across the floor, they gave us keys to our room and when we walked and found it had never been cleaned after the person before us. The beds were not made, dirty towels all over and the tv was on. We had to go back down to the desk and wait another 15 minutes for a new room. Part of the hotel must have been smoking because the entire place smelled like cigarettes.
My favorite part of this hotel is the friendly staff. Great value for Montgomery area. Quiet room, comfy bed, and ideal for a quick sleep and back on the road. Not fancy, but clean and comfortable. PET FRIENDLY TOO!
The staff was very friendly, every time I passed the front desk, she would call me by name and ask if I needed anything. I felt right at home and I look forward to going back.I would definitely recommend a friend or family member to stay here.
