This hotel is a trash pit, a friend and I came to stay for a funeral. The front desk staff was unwelcoming and rude and the rooms were disgusting I would have rather canceled my stay and went to another property however they weren’t trying to issue refunds and their horrible attitudes made it uncomfortable to keep asking for better accommodation. The first room we were given had a pungent smell and mold in the picture, the second room had a broken drain and ac, and mold in the bathroom. my friend had blood on her sheets and an ant invasion the following night. This property needs to be closed and redone it’s no reason for people to pay almost $500 of their hard earned money to be uncomfortable. They also sprung on a $16 a night parking fee that wasn’t included in Expedia. I am HIGHLY unsatisfied while i was supposed to be grieving the loss of my mother i also had to be uncomfortable.

This is the second survey that I have done. I made it clear that the room wasn’t properly cleaned (specifically the bathroom toilet and shower), the ice machines on the second and third floor were both out of service with no signs saying that they were out of order, and the room had an odor like old mold or mildew had settled in. The only thing I like about the hotel was the location and food options nearby.

From the beginning of check-in, there were no luggage carts available, then once we entered the elevator it seemed to be semi-operational. The door to the room on the 6th floor was heavier than a freight train, the entrance to the room was spacious, but the bathroom space was equipped for a single occupant, no shower dispenser, door to the refrigerator was pulled from the wall and was very dirty inside with a loud sqeak. Pillows were very uncomfortable which made my night unpleasant. I stayed at this same hotel over 30 years ago and the experience then was far greater than now.

What has happened to this property?

This hotel needs immediate work, improvements. I he bath mat in the bathroom is thread bare, rust around the drain. I had to move rooms 3 times to get only a decent room. One room had no air, the first had a chirpy fire alarm. I could have camped on Madison Ave for this.

We stayed at this property in mid-August 2025 for a quick college student drop-off. The area around the hotel was nice, and the hotel is easily accessible with plenty of self-parking. The staff was wonderful! Unfortunately, our room was underwhelming to say the least. It was extremely humid in the room, which could explain the rust on the sconce lights beside the beds and desk lamp, but it doesn't explain the dust, though. It may also possibly be the reason for the curtains having some sort of residue on the backing that transfers onto anything that touches it. When we were walking to our car in the parking lot we noticed in the windows of a couple of other rooms that they too had this same looking residue on the back of their curtains, which is why we didn't waste any of the little time we had trying to get our room changed, figuring it may be an issue in some of the other rooms as well. There were several other issues as well, like debris along the edges of the flooring in both the room and bathroom, flooring under the b/r sink had stray hairs, holes in the b/r wall, and holes in the padding on the bed's corners, just to name a few. Overall, the room requires a thorough cleaning, improved climate control, and some updates. I reached out via email with feedback and offered to send photos, and they responded, stating that I should hear back from someone within 3 days. However, I have yet to receive a response.

I am an amputee have had both feet amputated. Showed up three minutes late for breakfast. Was told I could not order from the buffet, even though they would not have had to put out anything extra. I explained I will make one pass through there I don’t eat that much in the first place. I was told no they shut it down at 10 o’clock. However, they had just restocked the buffet at 9:50 but yet could not let me go through the line one time. I asked him what they were gonna do with the food. They said well some of what they were gonna sell Hollo cart some of it they would probably be throwing out and I ask him could they at least give it to the homeless or something? I own the company that employed 83 people and I understand that you have to have rules to go by. However, should I go to Montgomery again for another football game? I doubt seriously I will stay there. The people in checking in and checking out were great. It really wasn’t the waitress‘s fault because she was just following company policy. However, had they let me go through the line. He probably would’ve had me as a customer forever. I know it’s Doubletree by Hilton, but I stay at the Hilton in Las Vegas. I stay at the Conrad in Las Vegas. I stay at Trump international in Las Vegas, which I believe is managed by Hilton.
